They played a ton of new songs from the album on radiou.com like yesterday or the day before.

I would
love to get that CD, too. I'm going to wait until it goes on special and see if I can pick it up over here sometime in the not-too-distant future. *crosses fingers*

I don't plan on buying the c.d.
I loved "Set It Off" when I got it when it first came out. I loved it cause it was such a hodge-podge of different genre's like punk, rapcore, rock, soft rock, etc. Then Phenoninom comes out and every song sounds the same. Which can be good sometimes but in this case, I was dissapointed. And from the songs I checked out on purevolume and thier website, thier songs still sound exactly the same.

Set it Off was good, but I liked the Phenomenon style much better. Oh well, to each his own I guess. I'm going to wait a little while for this CD as well. I'll hope it comes to BMG soon, so I can get it for like $8 or so. Unless by some chance I get to buy a copy and get it autographed at Spirit West Coast this week. Too bad I'll most likely be missing TFK play though. :'(

This album is definitely a step up from Phenomenon. There's a lot of guitar solos (which is surprising for TFK...I never would have imagined them doing guitar solos. The solos are a welcome surprise), and the songs actually do sound different from each other, and stand out in their own ways.
My favorite tracks would be Absolute, The Art of Breaking, Hurt, and Hand Grenade. I haven't been listening to the second half of the album that much because it didn't impress me that much upon first listen. When I listen to it more, I'll probably have a different opinion of my favorites. I'll still think that Hand Grenade is the best song, though. That song freakin' rocks.

Maybe Shadowchild thought it was Thousand foot Crutch...using a c instead of a K.

I see... But I'm not sure what the ebay part was about. Are you refering to their indie release?

Maybe cause E-Bay has low prices?

I saw TFK at Lifest last year. It was so boring I had a hard time not falling asleep during the concert. I was there only because there was nothing better going on at the time. They're not much different from any other mainstream rock band out there.

Wow, that's sad. Although they didn't completely blow me away in concert, I did enjoy seeing them.
Anyone seen the video for "Move?" It's pretty darn cool.

yeah, I've seen the video. I like it. It is one of those rare videos that actually match the song! lol.
I like the video better than "Rawkfist".
My brother picked up the new cd. Very good!
