Jars of Clay is great! One of my favorite Christian bands. I have almost all their albums, the new one, Furthermore, is a good one! But I still like their self-titled one the best.

Yep, that's them ("Flood" from their first album).
I have this instant distrust of anything I perceive to be faddish or have suspiciously rapid rise to wide popularity, which is why I wouldn't listen to JoC for many years, and why I initially wouldn't listen to Caedmon's Call. However, both were quite good when I was subjected to them, and I have several albums of both in my library, although I find I prefer their earlier/earliest albums best.

I liked their old stuff, like Flood, Liquid, Love Song for a Savior, etc. I really want their self-entitled CD. I haven't really followed them beyond that, though. So yeah, I guess you could say I'm a bit of a fan.

The wolf and I were on a long car trip one time and decided to try and unravel the words to one of their songs.
strike up the band and play a song as we go waltzing by
and fake a smile as we all say goodbye
We finally decided it was about the hypocricy in the church. Kinda intersting, IMHO, but rather cynical still.
(Incidentally, I LIKE that song. And JoC)
