Rocks the hardest: Symphony In Freaking Peril.
One that I like the most: Show-freaking-bread.

I chose Underoath, but that's because I'm not TOO incredibly familiar with the other options

I have never listened to any of these, actually.
Not because I don't listen to hardcore music, just because I hadn't heard of them prior to coming to this site. What are they? Metal?
Somebody give me a comparison. Are they anything like Fear Factory? Children of Bodom? In Flames? Black Label Society?

Some are hardcore (Project 86, Blindside) while I consider bands like Norma Jean, As I lay Dying, and Mortal Treason to fall under Metalcore.
So now...The Showdown or the new As I lay Dying might be a bit like Children of Bodom or In Flames. Those ar edeath and black metal though...biiig difference.
I would have to say either As I lay Dying or The Shwondown....I'll vote for ASILD.

Underoath and As I lay Dying are the only ones I've actually heard, so I would have to go with those two.
I take that back, there is one Project 86 track on a sampler I got, and I was none too impressed with it.

Okay, cool. Thanks!

I picked the final option. It does not scare me, but it doesnt do anything else for me either. I felt that option was the closest to a neutral answer.

I like Underoath but Norma Jean and Symphony have me at a tie...

I never got to see NJ with Josh Scoggin still in the lineup and Blindside never seems to come down to Texas.
I'll see As I Lay Dying at Ozzfest so I can better judge how their live shows are. Project 86 sound really in-tune live and Underoath just excuberate so much energy yet remain tight on their instruments.
If I were to vote just based on music, As I Lay Dying but live, Underoath.

Why does the only way to indicate not liking any of those bands also require indicating sniffly fear?

After egtting the new Mortal Treason, they are giving ASILD a huge run for it's money...actually they might of passed them already.

Project 86 is vastly superior to the others on the list. Nothing in Christian music tops Drawing Black Lines. Heck, very little in mainstreme does...

While I think many of those bands are really cool, I chose Blindside. I think they really nail it.
Mortal Treason has grown on me. I like the way they have a great message (from the songs I've heard) and deliver it SO brutally. Norma Jean-- sometimes I like them, sometimes not. While UnderOath has some major rawkage (yea, I made up a word), I guess they don't do it for me enough to get my vote. Showbread is really high on my list and so is Project. I'm not familiar enough with SIP, The Showdown, or AILD to really say there.
EDIT-- admittedly, I don't care much for some of Blindside's older stuff (to be fair to Norma Jean and their fans)

I don't like any of those bands, especially underoath...in my opinion that genre lacks originality and creativity
