If you love Veggie Tales... and you love Silly Songs with Larry - you've got to love this CD.

I was given it by my brother for Christmas, and I love it. If you know the original versions of the songs it's even better.

The Tracks are as follows:

VeggieTales Theme Song - Rebecca St James
I love My Lips - Stevenson (one of my favourites)
Promised Land - Sanctus Real
In the Belly of the Whale - Newsboys (never heard this one before the CD but now another favourite)
The Water Buffalo Song - Superchic[k]
I'm So Blue - Paul Colman
The Hairbrush Song - Audio Adrenaline (heard on radio before the CD - excellent)
The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything - Relient K
I Can Be Your Friend - The OC Supertones
His Cheeseburger - TAIT (awesome)
Stand - Skillet.

So if you like Veggie Tales and you're looking for a great CD to buy - this is something you might want to look into. :grins: Just wanted to share it with you all. God bless, and Happy New Year

I'm so saving up for this CD!! Its sounds awesome. Random thought: Why don't they ever put Switchfoot on these types of things anymore? It can't be because they went secular...

Anyway, ahhh! I bet the Audio A one is AWESOME! Have you heard their version of "The Little Drummer Boy"?

Hey I probably won't ever but this but was wondering what the Skillet song was like...Is it pretty soft? Or kind of harder...I already have the RK version of The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything. So yeah...MONKEYS!

My bro's got this cd and I like it a lot! Its a fair bit different from the original Veggie Tales tunes though. I love all of the songs except the Pirates one by Reliant K (my bros play them far too often) and Hairbrush by Audio Adrenaline is done very badly. I've heard a lot of Adrenaline's stuff and seen them live at the Entertainment Centre in Adelaide and the Hairbrush song has got to be their worst effort. That aside the Water Buffalo song by Superchick is a winner and the Belly of the Whale (Newsboys) song is great also! Buy the CD!

....@_@ I LOVED the hairbrush song. :shrugs: - people just like different songs from the CD. :) . I've got to agree, though - it's a lot different from their other songs. Leaving Ninety Nine is a favourite of mine.

Sorry about doing a double-topic, AnimeKing. A: I forgot and B: I didn't know if anyone else had the CD... or had even heard of Veggietales, lol. It's good to know there's some others out there....

Yep - The Pirates That Don't Do Anything is ruined by over-exposure. In The Belly Of The Whale is awesome. I hadn't heard that one before and I loved it from the opening.
