Anyone else excited about the first Roper CD? For anyone who doesn't know, Roper is a new band whose lead singer is Reese Roper, ex-frontman of Five Iron Frenzy. They're a blend of rock with a little punk thrown in and some monosynth for good measure. I got to see them live Friday night and I can safely say that they. are. awesome. It's just some good, fun, upbeat music in the vein of old FIF and Relient K. They rule. BRACE YOURSELVES FOR THE MEDIOCRE KIDS. I'll be counting down the days until the 19th..

Glitchmeister, I've got my copy of Brace Yourself reserved at Family Christian. My parents are getting it for me for my birthday, which is tomorrow of all days, so I am ecstatic. I just have to wait until it's in my sweaty little hands to be played over and over....
Oh, and I got to see Roper live Friday night. They absolutely ruled, but that was to be expected, I think.....their bassist was good, and their drummer was fun to watch.
And that review was cool, but people need to stop comparing Roper to FIF. They are two seperate bands. ._.

Well, I got the Roper CD and it. is. awesome. Fireflies <3<3<3<3 In Excelsis Deo <3<3<3<3 Red Eye To Miami <3<3<3<3 You're With Stupid <3<3<3<3 Vendetta! <3<3<3<3 Day of Pigs <3<3<3<3.......I'd continue, but I'd end up naming all of the songs. ^^; Those are probably my favorite songs on it, though. On another note, the new Showbread album, "No Sir, Nihilism Is Not Practical" is also freeking incredible. I was totally not expecting an album this mindblowing. I was expecting amazing from Roper and I got it, but Showbread is just awesome. Reese Roper even does vocals on the songs "Stabbing Art to Death" and "Matthias Replaces Judas" on the new showbread album.
