Why is there no good new bands?

For all the music-lovers out there, this is your place to swap lyrics, talk about new bands and jazz about concerts. All things related to the audio world belong here.

Wow. There is someone else like me out there. Now I have support. ha ha
"Relax, turn around, and take my hand." Tool
"Heir Kommt Die Sonne." Rammestein
"Now the world is gone, I'm just one. Oh please God help me." Metallica
"Are You Ready?!?" KoRn
"All and all your just another brick in the wall." Pink Floyd.

Rap is the malignant tumor of the music industry.

Haha. I bet you're PumpkinKorn with another screen name.

You didn't get very high marks in "Plays well with others" in pre-school, did you?

Why do people keep posting here? It seems to me that, in replying to this thread, people are only fanning the flames, so to speak.

This sort of stuff really makes me angry. We have rules in place for a reason guys. Pumpkin, yes your IP matches your new friend. That gets you a strike, do it again and you may find the limits of my mercy.

Please let it go, PKorn. There are no good bands in your opinion. Ok. It's fine to express that opinion.

But when you keep repeating your opinion with no intention of finding any contentment or resolution to the matter, consider how your posts affect others. As far as I can see, this has only made people feel troubled and discouraged especially for those who patiently listen to your opinions and sincerely try to help you feel better.

Also, consider prioritization of problems. OK, [insert music genre of dislike] sucks. But, it's not the end of the world. Surely, there are other matters we can concentrate our frustrations on, or hm....better still, surrender your frustrations to God. Silly as it sounds, why not pray for good bands if that's really important to you? Or pray for the Christian music industry if you feel that it's poor or mediocre in quality? Or why not start your own band?

Seriously, forcing your opinions on what good music should be, is not worth all this hassle. I don't mean to be harsh but I'm trying to redirect this thread towards a healthier and more positive outlook. Constantly grumbling about something isn't going to help make things change.
