Metroid pic (in progress)

This is a screenshot of my screen... (like it cud be a shot of anything else
)
anyway currently I've started a Samus pic. I took a pic from the galleries of Metroid Prime and am tracing it in Flash (same as I did with Megaman)
I'll let you know how it progresses
Just let you see this to tease you all.

My outline is finished. Here it is. Gonna start on colouring tomorrow maybe(its 11pm here)
This is easily the HARDEST outline I have EVER done!!!

Yeah...her armor is really hard sometimes...grrr...I was sketching a pic of her the other day and if it wasn't her shoulders giving me trouble, it was the helmet...>.< You did a nice job, though! It'll be cool to see it colored...

The helmet wasn't that bad for me. This is the pic I copied. As you can see beneath her helmet and between her joints is very dark so I had trouble finding out where the lines started and ended so I kinda had to make it up

Took me a couple of hours. Not that long. Most of it was spent doing the circular areas (circles are HARD) and the dark areas I cant see.

It's amazing how you manage to color so well... I have always problem with colouring in such detail... it takes ages..

Update: Got a couple of base colours on. I'm not happy with the yellow though so I'm gonna play with it a little.

Wow, that looks really really nice!
I wish I could afford a program like flash (although I'd probably use it more for animations anyway). I also wish I had a tablet. And maybe a laptop. And a car (wait, I'm 14).
Oh well, I'm just a lost cause I guess
