Joey's Stuff

Postby express » Wed Jul 02, 2003 1:48 am

I've been wanting to put up some of my drawings up in a thread for a while now. It was suggested by Inkhana that I do so after I put up a pic on the oekaki board (I think:shady: ).

Well...lets see... I'll start with my sketchbook stuff...I'll put this one up first. You guys will recognize this.

This is one I drew when I had a girlfriend (my first at that; I'm "girlfriendless" right now. But that's fine because I need to work on my relationship with Christ first above all else; I wasn't save back then. However, I still really miss her.).

We were really in love. That's not us, but I just felt like drawing it at the time. I look pretty much like my avatar if you wanna know.

Thanks you guys. As for my inking, I don't have a set of fancy pens. I only use a tech-pen and a Sharpie. I think it works just as well.

Thanks again.

I don't know why these didn't show up before. I thought I posted them last night. Oh, well...

This one I did in my AP Chemistry class. It all started when I was sitting listening to my teacher teach the lesson. All of a sudden, my friend who sat behind me started meowing. From there the rest of the hour got out of control. I showed my teacher the drawing, and he loved it. He made a few copies of it and put a copy on the bulletin board to show other Chem hours that our AP class was awesome. It was awesome, and I really miss everyone.:sniffle:

(in response to an interview question "Do you have a pet peeve having to do with this biz?")
People who write below their abilities in order to crank out tons of books and make a buck. Especially Christian authors who do that. Outsiders judge us for it, and make fun of us for it, and it makes Jesus look bad. We of all artists on earth should be the most concerned with doing our best possible work at all times. We of all people should write with all our hearts, as if writing for the Lord and not for men.
