Kokoro Daisuke wrote:I agree entirely with what you said, Angel - some of the activites on that list should be avoided, IE drinking blood, taking drugs, drinking alcohol underage, listening to Marilyn Manson. But I apply to far more that five things on that list, and I sure as heck am not "goth" or a satanist, or an occultist!
This is just an example of someone being "holier than thou art."
I still do not agree with play any M rated games just because it puts thoughts in your head that quite frankly don't need to be there. Whether you take it seriously or not.Context, context, and context! If they take it seriously, it's a concern that needs to be dealt with. If it's a game, it's a game. 'Nuff said on that one.
They did give a context though. O_o[]Drinks blood or expresses an interest in drinking blood. (Vampires believe this is how to attain Satan. This act is very dangerous and should be stopped immediately.)
*Sucks on a small cut on his finger* Again, CONTEXT, PEOPLE, CONTEXT!

I play the cardgame, Magic: The Gathering. They probably count me as in this category, even though I'm not crazy about darkenss and real magic. *Rolls eyes* Am I obsessed with it? No.
Is it an entertaining hobby that gives me something to do and a way to work on strategy? A whole-hearted yes.

Also, I know you're not at all closed minded. I became aware of that after speaking with you in the CAA chat earlier today. I actually admire how open you are to others views on things and are willing to admit that you aren't always right.
Obviously, the point of this test is to introduce completely ignorant parents to behavior which they might not connect to a dangerous live style. I know alot of you think that certain qulifications like "sleeps too much or too little" apply to all teenagers, but they mean EXTREME instances of these habits. My friend for example generall didn't sleep more than two hours a night. Said he just couldn't.
