Woo hoo!I got my orange belt in karate.Sam*ron,Kinkosami,and Azuregwun did to.Okay well I just wanted to say that cause I'm happy. :grin:

Good job! I want to try karate, but my dad thinks I'm too fragile -_- Just cause I've broken my arm 3 times. It was because I landed my whole body weigh on it! Of course its gonna break. *grumble*

Good for you, TRinitron! in dan Zan Ryu jujitsu im a little familiar with Shodakun (sp?) Karate. What style of Karate do you practice? And what are the ranks?

Thanks! The style that I do is American Kenpo Karate.And the ranks are white,yellow,orange,purple,blue,green,three degrees of brown,and ten of black.


My rank isn't very high,but I haven't even been doing karate for a year.

You know Trin, I don't really like karate either but I do it because my mom makes me. :shady: And the thought of quitting just seems so... wrong. :grin:

Well what style did you do.Because I tried Judo.And I hated it.There is to much flipping in that.LOL....Kenpo is much better.

hah heck if i know my friend was trying to show me some stuff... im more of just i guess you can say street fighter.. even though he knows karate i can still beat him in a sparing match or whatever

I do Gung Nu (sp?), which my instructors tell me is Tai chi and Karate.
Still a white belt though, joined this summer.

It's a very small branch of Karate. It's actually kind of cool, there's a lot of emphasis on relaxing, proper poses, good punches/kicks...

I wanted to take karate this fall at college but the class was at a bad time for me so I will be taking Judo. Wish me luck!

all the regular ones from starting from white and going to black. Only two people in my class have different color belts from the rest of us. One is my instructor, he's a black belt, the other is one of the ladies there, she's a red or orange belt, I think. Totally, there's like 50 people there, so it's hard to keep track of everyone...
