Lie on your back with a tank top and shorts with a cup of ice nearby. Open all the windows, and put ice on your chest and forehead. That's what me and my sibs did when our AC went out in the middle of a Texas July (hears Ink and Calbh gasp). Hmm, I guess you could also open windows but shut the blinds--lets in the cool air but keeps out the sunlight. Got a hammock? Those things are fun to cool off in too.

Ugghh...I am already getting annoyed by the heat. Maybe you can go jump in the swimming pool and take three or four showers a day. Also don't dehydrate, keep plenty of water nearby and leave open the windows and doors like Ash said.

Lots of cold drinks. With ice in them. That helps me the most.

Go to the bathroom sink and run cold water over your wrists, especially the underside. It works wonders, trust me.

If you have a basement. Go in there. It's always cold . Or you can find a cold floor to lay on and when the spot you are on gets warm. move to another spot on the floor..... Other wise you can try just laying on your stomach somewhere(I suggest the floor or couch) and trying thinking of something else besides the heat. you can also try sleeping.

get the hose and spray urself (if the water ain't hot) or get and ice cube and rub it on ur head until it melts (there's a bonus to it also, u can convince ur parents to get ac or something and say ur sweating a lot. j/k)

I have never lived in a home with air conditioning, and Kansas' weather is above average, heat wise. Generally the majority of days in an average summer are over 100 degrees (Fahrenheit). So all in all I guess I'm just used to it.

With multiple servers and workstations running in this apartment during 100-110 degree summers, central A/C is a must.

Here in Lansing, my buddies and I tend to run over to Barnes and Noble instead. We read the books there, drink coffee and sleep on those comfortable chairs provided, all the while enjoying the A/C. ^^;;;;;

Back home (equatorial Malaysia), it's A/C or fans, thin cotton clothing, drinking much liquid (coconut water yum!) and keeping yourself occupied enough, not to notice the heat.

But under ANY circumstances don't do this;

Fill a bucket with ice and water, half each.
Pour salt over it, and dissolve it all.
Put your feet in it.

This process, while it'll seriously cool anything in the bucket, will most likely freeze your flesh permanently. It makes a fresh bottle of water in room temperature go down to -20 celcius in 30 minutes, supercooling it. It's colder than getting locked in your fridge for that long. You have been warned.

Whoa Lorentz...! I didn't know that...maybe I should try that the next time we bring sodas home from the store and I don't feel like waiting for one to cool off so I can drink it XD~ (I hate ice in my drink...)

I think I'll just use some ice and fans and stuff. I think it wouldn't be so bad here if it wasn't so HUMID! It's actually in the mid 80's, but it feels like the mid 90's because of the high humidity. (T^T ) ( ;@.x)

you could wear a tank top and shorts and lie on the bathroom floor *if it's tile* with a cupple of buckets of ice around you, that usually worked for me ^.^;;. . . . or go to Wal-mart if you really wanna' FREEZE ^_^

Gte a kiddy pool and fill it up and just lay in it in the shade . . . works pretty good. ^_^'

You do NOT want to supercool liquid too much, let alone drink it. It may look like normal liquid when supercooled but as soon as the equilibrium is disturbed (by too much shaking or an introduction of an object with a different temperature yet similar properties, like ice) chances are it all turns to ice instantly. Very, very solid ice, the type you find under 4 metres of a glacier. You wouldn't like such amount of ice in your stomach.

Some people use this method to rapidly create fruit juice slurshies in seconds. Ridiculous cooling indeed.
