CAA: Christian Anime Alliance

So, my 30th birthday is around the corner (4th of January, goodbye twenties) and I wanted to make it something special, seeing as my 21st was rather lackluster. Problem is I just can't think of anything WOW, that would set it apart from the norm. Any of you guys have any suggestions? I'm currently inviting around 15 or so people.

If I wasn't the only person (well, apart from one other person) who was into Anime, I would have considered it. LOL sounds like you're going to have a cool party :3

Why not have a party with a theme taken from a favorite TV series or film franchise? For example, a friend of mine hosted a party that was themed around her and her friends' (including me) favorite TV series Firefly. People dressed up in a combo of Wild West outfits and Chinese garb, and some even dressed up as one of the characters of the show. Games also were based off the show. It was a lot of fun .

I suggest explosives. Cheep fireworks make ANY party better!

I don't remember what I did for my 30th birthday. I hope it was good.

A game show party!! [huh?].. make games about you and your life.. find out if your guests really know you better/less than you expect.. (a suggestion from an out of this world humanoid)..lolz!

1. Reliving Childhood pasttimes with buddies (play backyard baseball, etc)
2. Party Bus!


That's all I've got. I've never done much for birthdays. Sorry.

Thanks guys. So far all the suggestions have been pretty, uh, well, amusing, but I'm still not any closer to having a definite idea.

Another problem is that half my friends live in the town where I currently live, while the other half live in the town I previously stayed in, which is a 90 min drive away.

bungee jumping with friends! that would be awesome! what do you think? lolz.. [i know i'm a weirdo]

Well instead you can provide the costumes which means that one of the guys may end up with a pink kimono. Then play sports in them then go to the movies in your cosplay clothes and then whoever gets the most comments about their cosplay outfit wins...
