The Jesse Tree

In the Catholic church, many families keep a tradition of making a Jesse Tree. It's a fir tree that you decorate with symbols pertaining to God's covenant. So, I thought why not make an image thread out of it. Here's what you do. You post an image relating to this list in the order of the list.
Meaning if someone posts the first image on the list, you post the second.
Anyway here's the list:
1. the sun--God dispels the darkness
2. the tablets of the law--the ten commandments
3. key--the keys to Heaven's gates
4. Bethlehem--Jesus's birthplace (house of bread)
5. Jesse--David's father
6. The Star of David--David's seal
7. Jacob's Ladder--Jacob's vision of angels desending from Heaven
8. Jonah in the whale--prefigures the period between Jesus's death and resurrection
9. Temple--God's dwelling place is in our hearts.
10. Crown and scepter--Christ's role as King
11. Judith's sword--Judith prefigures Mary's fiat ("Let it be done to me according to Your will")
12. Burning Bush--symbolizes God's covenant with Moses
13. Noah's Ark--God's covenant with Noah
14. The Ark of the Covenant--the new law
15. The Altar of the Halocaust--sacrifice
16. The apple--"O happy fault, whereby we have merited so great a Redeemer!"
17. The Paschal Lamb--the Passover sacrifice prefigures Jesus's sacrifice
18. The Pillar of Fire--God appearing as a Pillar of Fire to lead the Israelites
19. Manna--the bread of Heaven
So I'll start. Here's a sun:

Will it even live up to the original? That is the real question.

You know, I may not agree making this kind of topic and I don't do this in my house. But some traditions are very dear to others and should be kept that way and it could make people coming here thinking that people are going to make fun of their traditions that they may have.

But don't worry, there will be another we need change thread in a few months and you will be able to say, we should care for one another and then be jerks the next week.

You know, I'm with Roy on this --- most of this thread wasn't called for, and most of the people who posted in it know better. Nate, I'm calling you out on this one specifically, but there are certainly others who I expect quite a bit better out of.

This wasn't in Goof Off and it was intended seriously. Let's try that again or I'll be handing out strikes next. I'm not sure how this escaped my notice, but it did not escape the notice of the people who reported it, so this is clearly not just my opinion.

I think I'm going to have to defend Nate and the others by saying this is an internet thread and therefore we shouldn't take it quite so seriously even if it isn't in Goof Off. Also, I don't see how they did anything that was out-of-line or disrespectful. In fact, I thought it was pretty amusing. Is it so boring around here nowadays that we have to come down on people who are just joking around with no malicious intent?

Frankly, I'm not so certain that certain elements in this thread weren't posting without malicious intent. Without going into details, you are welcome to PM me on the matter.

I'm not comfortable in accepting "internet is obviously srsbsns" as a defence for not taking any thread that shows up seriously. Obviously, it's up to whoever's posting to judge the intent of the OP. Sometimes it's not clear. I don't think this means that every thread on the Internet is fair game for derailing.

There are boards that are much less friendly than here with much looser rules where what happened in this thread would mean an automatic infraction for everyone involved.
