I resolve to not make a resolution this year, since I always break mine... Oops, broke it already.

I never make new years resolutions. I have so many self-improvment lists and goals floating in my head and on random lists, I really don't need to add to it.
And I'll stop this pretending that I can
Somehow deserve what I already have
I need You to love me

ignore my mothers singing as she sits in the cell across from mine

Mine is to be the leader in Quick Service Restaurants by selling the best sandwiches and "products in and around sandwiches" in the marketplace... one successful restaurant and one "wowed" customer at a time.

In short, I promise to do my best to help this new Quiznos be the best it can be :)

I don't really have a New Years resolution this year. I didn't have one last year, though: I decided not to post in New Years resolutions threads!

. . .Oh, gingersnaps.
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality, visit the Invisible Children home page.

Finish up some of my stories and start the others

Get some of my ideas for sngs written down

Get my "read soon" pile of books finished

Get my message board member count and activity level up substanialy(sp?)

Become decently literate and able to speak Japanese

Straighten up asome parts of my life that need to be changed

And most of all, Get much closer to God, give Him more of my time and get back into my BIble reading.

Oh yeah, and get it into my head that none of those resolutions except the last one actually matter and should only be sought after when I am back where I need to be spiritualy.

1. Spend more time with God and less on things that don't matter
2. Surround myself with positive people so I can become even more positive
3. Find a home church, one I can establish a Christian family in
4. Be more positive
5. Think more of others
6. Worry more about what I should do for GOD, not other people
7. Stop worrying so much about other people and what they think of me
8. Go out and get a life and have fun more xD I sit home too much since I've sort of moved
9. Get rid of a few bad habits that I've managed to pick up

I never make New Years resolutions. Mainly because they never seem to help me-- usually, if I'm resolute to do something I'll do it, and if I'm not I'm not. And trying to make these descisions on a day picked out of the year has never seemed to help me. Don't really know if that's a good thing or a bad thing. But I mean, most important things like getting to know God better and all that stuff are like my LIFE'S resolutions, lol, so I'm obviously going to be working on them this year and all the rest that follow it. ;)
Be Thou my Vision, O Lord of my heart;
Naught be all else to me, save that Thou art
Thou my best Thought, by day or by night,
Waking or sleeping, Thy presence my light.

Be Thou my Wisdom, and Thou my true Word;
I ever with Thee and Thou with me, Lord;
Thou my great Father, I Thy true son;
Thou in me dwelling, and I with Thee one.

Be Thou my battle Shield, Sword for the fight;
Be Thou my Dignity, Thou my Delight;
Thou my soul’s Shelter, Thou my high Tower:
Raise Thou me heavenward, O Power of my power.

Riches I heed not, nor man’s empty praise,
Thou mine Inheritance, now and always:
Thou and Thou only, first in my heart,
High King of Heaven, my Treasure Thou art.

High King of Heaven, my victory won,
May I reach Heaven’s joys, O bright Heaven’s Sun!
Heart of my own heart, whatever befall,
Still be my Vision, O Ruler of all.
