Talk about anything in here.

I have a concordance!

Postby Jaltus-bot » Fri Sep 23, 2005 8:11 pm

I have a Strongs concordance. My mom had it on computer as well as in a book and I wanted one so she said I could have it. It's not the most recent translation, but it's pretty good and it's MINE! :jump: :jump: I just wanted to share the joy. Many hours of fun reading for the future. And now I leave you with some dancing bananas.

:dance: :dance: :dance:
When I feel blue, I start breathing again.

Asdvadz hedut ullah! (W. Armenian, "May God bless you!")

It's cosplay, get used to it.

Try this one out. It's the Bible and comes with 2 or 3 different concordances.

It's pretty hardcore to consider reading a concordance without learning Biblical languages.

As the saying goes:Strong's for the storng,Crudens for the crude! :lol:
Well the advantage to Strong's is that you can look up the word meanings
in the back.
btw:Is it an older or newer version?

That's true.
I've never tried it before to tell the truth.
Sometime I would love to read Hebrew but it seems like a very difficult language though and I'm already juggling Japanese! ^^;;;

I don't know if Strongs has older or newer versions, but as I understand, strongs is a bit older. The most recent date listed in the cover is "Copyright (c) 1990 by Thams Nelson Publishers"

I tend to consider learning the languages more hardcore to me. That would be some serious study.

same here. Concordances are in a person's native language and that's 1000000000000000000000^Pi times easier to read than having to learn two different languages
