AIM Hacking?

Postby Stephen » Sat Jul 30, 2005 8:43 pm

I just had someone IM me on AIM under the name brokenpipe99984 (some random number at the end) They asked if I was indeed a mod on CAA...after a few minutes of talking...with this thing acting like English was not its first langauge. I told it I was going to block it...to which it responded, you just got pranked by a friend on CAA...to send a bot of your own go to ebaumsworld. Now, I did not find this funny in the least. In fact, I am quite angry about this. I consider it a form of hacking if someone messes with my IM stuff...(it was also masking things people would say to me...making me look like a bot) So basicly...I want whoever did this to have the guts to admit it. I don't take kindly to pranks concerning CAA and my private IM programs. (I don't share my AIM addy)

Heh. I looked it up on the site...it seems its some joke thing people can do. I don't see the humor in it...and have blocked my name from there lists. If you speak with me VIA IM. Realise, I don't fool around with stuff...if you have my info...its to contact me outside CAA when you need help...not to goof around with. You will be blocked from my account stuff if you do this. *lockage* (I would appreciate whoever did this to man-up and PM me.)
