i have heard about the "mark of the beast" being a chip. I think for people who like to speculate about end times having a chip is a lot more practical than just some tattoo or whatever. Still the bible really doesn't say what it is gonna be.

yes the chip is a very realistic thing that we may have to face in our lifetime, weather it will be what the bible warns of or not i do not know, that may have a while to come yet. but i believe that it like many other things it will lead to it.
and i will never use it or anything like it.

I'd take that last website with a really large pinch of salt, there's a lot of stuff like that out there relating to endtimes and I think that some people get really absorbed by it. The views presented on these sites are often quite extreme... making them perfect for stirring things up.

The thing with sites like this is yes, they do go overboard. But I personally believe the following:

The prophets who tried to predict the coming of the Messiah had many theories, but none of them were NEAR correct. I think it's the same thing here. Biblical prophecy is used to prove the authenticity of the Bible, (by looking back) not to foretell future events.

I have seen a lot of sites like this, going overboard, one that added up the letters in Bill Gates' name to make them 666 (not that Microsoft isn't evil folks, don't get the wrong idea!) and other world leaders.

Um... heh. This Geno thing sounds like a whole lot of Humanism, with a pinch of Gnosticism thrown in for good measure. It's so ridiculous that I hope it is a joke, but I wouldn't be too surprised if these people take themselves seriously. :shake:
