Has any one been wrongfully accused of a crime that never hapened along with the crimes of someone you know on your favorite Mud? Well I have and it is is not very fun to try to clear things up when every time you try to explain what happend to an admin the call you a liar and won't listen to you.

This all started when I started playing on MUME and desided to introduce my younger brother to the game. How was I supposed to know that my brother was going to spam? Any way to make a long story short I helped both my siblings start their accounts and showed them how to do afew things that they needed help on and I was accused of owning multiple accounts. I was also accused of my brothers crime of spaming. :comp: :shake:

I did finally get out, but my sister who barly ever played was banned. I can understand why my brother was banned but I still think that it was a litle harsh for a first time offence.

I was wondering, has any one else had simular problems with mud admins. If so please let me know. :?:

OUCH!! :shake: :wow!:

I wonder if the would have treated you the same if you belonged to one of the world religions and you were not the follower of the one, true God.

And I thought I was treated unjustly!!

I used to play MUME as well, they didn't seem to mind Christians on there. So long as you don't use the narrate channel for "Christian spamming" you get along fine.

Multi accounts are very hard to discern tho - it's generally not a good idea to start more than one account from one IP address. We've had a bit of that problem on here..

I've seen a few nasty cases where accounts had their characters nuked, but that's only because people were cheating.. if I were you I'd start up one account and create characters for everyone in your house under that account, that way you'd stand less chance of being banned.

It might work exept for a couple of things, one there is a rule against sharing acounts, and two I liked being able to play on MUME with my siblings so there was some one I knew there. Otherwise the place is compleatly forieghn. About the people on there, the only players I have trouble with have mostly been dwarfs. One asked me for my mule and I didn't reply fast enough for him so he killed my mule and my pony!!! Another time I was following som dwarfs in rivendell to see were they were going, and the attacked me! I got away, but my mule was not as lucky. :shake:

The elves and hobbits on the other hand or either helpfull or just ignory you for the most part. At least one never killed my mount or attacked me.

The men are prety much the same has the hobbits. :)

I think I'm missing some sort of subtle joke here, right? I mean, I have been every race possible in the muds I've played (as well as most classes, and all 3 genders...) and I didn't, say, act too much differently as a wolf as I did as an Elf... So why would Dwarves be more likely to act like jerks in the mud than others such as elves, hobbits, or humans? Unless they are just acting more in character because Dwarves are supposed to have bad tempers??? I don't understand that...

Dwarf warrior is the easiest munchkin character of the lot... you just build someone really strong with a concussion weapon and thwack stuff. I used to play a dwarf, he was my main character, and I don't think I acted like a jerk :D

BTW it's not usually a good idea to go to Rivendell until your char is at least level 15 as there are a lot of PKers around there at night. There are also plenty of demon wolf mobs waiting to eat you... if you die from PK don't venture out to recover your equipment until the sun comes up again. Getting into rivendell is actually fairly easy, I think you type in "find rivendell" or something and the system takes you there automatically, but it's very easy to get lost coming out again.

I played up to level 20, then stopped. My character is no longer on the system now, might get back into it one day :)
