I think I've seen this before; one of our users at Anime Angels posted the same link when I asked what this ( ^_^ ) meant. One would think that I'd have the sense to use it more often. >_<

I've been doing ^_^ and ^o^ and ^_^; and such all along... just not with the (^_^) around it...

because they were started in Japan and because they are not the normal "american" (or canadian, brittish, european) sideways smileys suck as :) and such. I like them better... I don't really like the sideways ones, and especially since they often trigger code that converts them to pictures... It removes some of the class and emotion to just using it like it is... ^_-

I want to say ^_^ not have a picture of a smiley face, you know?

I love those ^_^. They add a pretty nice touch to fanfictions too! (Humorous anime fics that is.)
