The Japanese word for light is "hikari" (光 <--- the kanji, if you can see it)

I'm pretty sure "Kohaku" means 'amber', as in the stone. But hey, I could be wrong.

One of my friends brought up the fact that most Gundam protagonists have similar names....Amuro, Shiro, Heero. Do any Gundam enthusiasts know how accurate this is? (I've been meaning to watch some original Gundam stuff for a while now, but have had little opportunity.)

Wow, Kohana is really pretty...I was going to name one of my manga characters Dai, as well.

Kohei sounds very familiar. What major anime characters have that name?

Certainly the success of Ichiro in Seattle has made that name popular,at least
among baseball fans.

Natsumi because i it means "beautiful summer". Here in Phx, Arizona, i dont think summer is beautiful at all, it is very hot and the trees look ugly year round. You cant even drive a car without an oven mitt and dont even think about having leather interior. This name reminds me of a summer that has leaves of all different colors, falling and a temp of 73 degrees. A light breeze makes you just want to sit under a tree and pray. This is the name i like.
