Yes. Right now they function basically as two sites that just so happen to have exactly the same content on them.

As I understand it, Straylight originally wanted to use .com, because it remains in people's minds far better, but others wanted .net, to reflect the type of organization we actually are. So we got both.

Which one should we be using, then? Or does it matter?

I believe there is no difference. Generally, I use .net, but at some times (particularly when the school system is acting finicky) I use .com, which may or may not actually help.

Good one, Momus.

I was looking for a Christian view of Shaman King, since I was getting into the series. Google led me to one of the threads and I registered that same night. It's a great place here, and I've made loads of wonderful friends.

Well, I was just looking around for Christian chats and such on dogpile.com I think and this popped up. Looked interesting, so I decided to check it out. :) So glad I did; this place is too awesome. :D

I'm surprised on how many people were refered here by another. But I'm not too surprised that many found this site by typing "christian anime" in the search. Because that's how i found it. :thumb:

I happened across CAA because of Live Journal. I have a Live Journal, and one day I became bored. To quench my boredom, I decided to do a search on the common interests of anime and saw a christian anime lovers community. Someone happened to mention this site, so I checked it out and well......here I am! :D

Vyse showed me this place a long time ago too. He showed me CAA when I was still a Mormon. He seemed really happy to have found a message board like this (previous ones we had posted at weren't necessarily always the nicest places, and CAA is a better message board in several ways). I looked around. I searched for "mormon" and found some threads that I didn't like because they mentioned the 'deeper doctrines" of mormonism, and how dare they present those beliefs without teaching the basics first because then people will think Mormons are weird <_<; heh...). I refused to register.
After I converted to Christianity I joined here. People I met through this site became my only Christian friends for a while until I got settled in my family's new house and found a church to attend.

I am a big fan of Satoshi (Ash) from Pokemon and my friend had a really great site dedicated to him. And she had a bunch of her favorite links and stuff and she was member of the old CAA..the one that didn't have the forum...and I joined there...and then when Ashley announced that CAA had a new website, I quickly joined!! But then I quit...but I joined again!!! ^^
