Serious Question

Postby Markus » Wed Aug 10, 2005 4:52 am

Now, this question only applies to those girls that are old enough to have an opinion about it... please I am actually wondering.

Your boyfriend, not some guy that looks good with it, your boyfriend... Facial hair, Yes or no. What would you prefer?

Personally....no. No facial hair. It's scratchy and it tends to get in the way, I think. I find guys with a smooth face very, very attractive. I think it goes back to the fact that if I want to touch my guy's face, I want to feel his warm skin, not facial hair. Besides...it's hard to give a little kiss on the cheek if there's facial hair in the way....and what if you like to leave lipstick kisses? ;) It's not really a matter of being "well kempt" or anything...I know many guys with facial hair who spend a lot of time maintaining their beard so that it looks nice and clean.

Now, I don't mean I'd want my boyfriend to shave EVERY DAY. I know that's almost impossible for some people and it would get rather tiresome. And ultimately, it would be his decision to have facial hair. I mean...it's his face, right?

Unfortunately, some of us *do* have to shave every day. *sighs*

[color=DarkGreen] In a perfect world, guys WOULD shave every day. I said that because I know it's probably annoying. If it weren't so much effort it'd be nice if whoever I wound up with would shave every day ]

I look at it this way: When I'm 40 and have a wife and X number of kids, I'll grow a beard. I can wait.

Shaving's easy, if you get into the habit of it.

I say "No facial hair, please." Don't know EXACTLY why, but I've always disliked it.
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality, visit the Invisible Children home page.

I don't care that much. It's up to him.

But honestly, I don't like the look of mustaches alone. ._.
Beards? Nicely kept ones can be very attractive for the facial structure... But it's his face and he's the one who has to deal with its grooming.

It's up to the guy.

I don't think it would bother me at all if he wasn't completely clean-shaven.

Ugh, I don't know why but I really dislike facial hair. My dad had a mustache for. . . let's see. . . probably the first five years of my life, and I nagged him so much he finally shaved it off and has never tried growing one back since. So I feel bad for the guy I end up with if he wants facial hair-- 'cause he ain't getting it! Lol, just kidding, I'll love him enough it won't matter if he insists on growing hair out of his face. . . (but I hope he doesn't! )

How about somemore serious questions:

Do you eat soup or drink it?

What would Nappa look like as a Super Sayain?

How can you tell a male hurricane from a female hurricane?

Seriously, I have this mustache that i usuually let grow out then shave. One time I waited too long and it ended up like Perdro`s from Napoleon Dynamite?! That won`t happen again. Once a week now. I just thought of a funny Seinfeld episode that I won`t share due to off topicness.

The main reason I don't grow out my facial hair is because I think it looks really dumb on me. My twin on the other hand has yet to understand that concept 0_o

Personally, I don't like that scrappy look or feel. I like to be the clean shaving type. Perhpas it's not as sophisticated, but it looks better. Plus, for most of us young men, why grow out a unportionable beard anyways?

Hey now, lovely, careful with a statement like that. Just because a guy might have facial hair doesn't mean he's not too keen on hygiene. Like I said earlier, there are plenty of guys with mustaches and/or beards that spend time grooming every morning. My father is one of those. He trims his mustache every single day. Some women like facial hair...my mother is one of those people

I'm with alberto here... I have a goatee, no mustache and clean cheeks ( as clean as they can get at the rate my hair grows :shady:.

And Madeline: I'd prefer a girl be attracted to my overall life and attitudes...not just my face. XP
And I shower daily.

I shave primarily because unruly facial hair gets UNCOMFORTABLE. Also, my job requires it. If a clean face attracts The Ladies, so be it.

I'm with the Shoobinator on this one. I've had to shave jsut about everyday since I was 14 or 15. No joke, no lie. I can grow a full bread in less than a few days.

I'm wondering what it's gonna be like when I'm old...
