MY UNIQUENESS

I don’t watch sports on TV. That alone separates me from most guys my age. I love to write. That separates me from the rest of them.
Last night I went outside and sat in the grass and gazed at the stars. I contemplated the world, my life, and the future. I thought back to miniscule and faded childhood memories. I spoke with God.
The lack of light that the absence of sun allows is quite wonderous when you take the time to look and listen.
How many High School students in Reisterstown, Maryland, the United States, or The World saw two shooting stars last night, and appreciated them?
How many kids dream with their eyes open? How many create a forest of pines from a vision of only two scraggly trees? It seems it is only I and my glistening reflection in the mirror pool.
Musical waves
Swirl around my head
Rhythmic syncopation
Whimsical muse

It must be played
Again
And again.

But I can’t read music
But I can write it
With flourish.

I can’t “notâ€

I love learning and performing card and coin tricks. Kind of dorky, but I love it!
I'm a jock who enjoys anime.
I'm a anime fan that doesn't read mangas.

Plus with all the life difficulties I've faced growing up made me a strong person who is very compassionate towards others. Perhaps I'm not a touchy feely guy but I always try my best to help others.

Lastly, being a child of God.

That's what I believe makes me unique.

Jeesh, Ingemar is cranky today. XD Just kidding. But it does seem like something's bothering you. Anything wrong?

Myself, I write fanfiction for myself, I draw for myself, and mostly don't ever intend to show them to people.

I randomly meow like a cat,
Thinking about old churches makes me happy,
I wear a Beret [sometimes]
I like walking through misty forests and pretending I'm the queen of the trees,
I wear interesting clothes some of which I've made my self,
I'm the only one on this planet who is me.

They might not, but the people who adore Asians will.

I'm aware of the fact that there are billions of Asians in the world...but I still think that each and every single one is pretty rockin. Then again, I'm just a loser with a strange fascination with anyone who is Asian. They rock my socks. I think it's because I grew up in the Hick Middle of Nowhere, GA.

So yeah, Mr SP, you are unique ^_^

What I think makes me special (though not necessarily the good kind  )

-I cook REALLY well
-I'm 23 and I'm still a gamer girl, complete with pulling all nighters (this is one of those where I don't know what kind of special that fits under :brow: )
-I've never drank alcohol or tried drugs
-I'm generally slow to anger and quick to forgive
-I sing opera
-I'm obsessed with all things Asian (another questionable one)

But the two main things:
-I'm a child of God
-I have the most beautiful and incredibly amazing friends in the world. Just by being friends with them, that makes me special ^_^

I have the rarest names in both English and Korean. In fact, last time I checked there was only 9 other Koreans with same Korean name as me in the entire world. And of course, not many people are called Lorentz as their first name either.

Meaning, if you never want anyone to see those drawings, be sure your burn them wheb you're on your death bed.
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality, visit the Invisible Children home page.

What makes me unique?
hmmm....all of my friends keep telling me that I am special...and that I need to remember that not everyone is like me....but, I don't know....

I tend to be rather naive...
I like to believe that all people are good....
I forgive at the drop of a needle....
I would give my last dollar if someone was in more need of it than I was...
I am a child of God...
I believe that everything happens for a reason...
I beleieve in love at first sight....
and that miracles happen.
I am also a survivor....
I have been a vitim of a terrible crime against my body and my soul and I am ok....
I have friends who would do anything for me....
I have family who loves me, no matter what I have done in my pain....

But,I think that mainly, what makes me unique is that I am me....

1. I am the only person I know that runs through the mall singing at the top of my lungs:

I am a fine musician
That's what people say
I play upon my clarinet *plays upon invisible clarinet*
Foo foo foo foo foo foo foo!
(repeat until friends die of embarrassment)

Oh, and on the escalators, I bounced with my knees to the beat while singing. Some of the looks I got were hilarious.

People were staring at me like this: :eyebrow:

Luckily I was not taken away by security  They must of been having an off-day not to notice the ruckus. ^^

2. If you put a screwdriver next to me, I will immediately succumb to the urge to take anything and everything with screws apart.

3. I am completely random. One minute I will start talking about the fate of the world and the role that America plays in preventing the next Holy Roman Empire, which I believe will dominate the entire world and be ruled by the Antichrist.

A few seconds later, I will burst into dance and start making up song parodies to share with everyone in the parking lot. ^_^

4. I think the entire world is made up of a large grid, and everyone on that grid emits a radius of 'personal space'. Therefore I must position myself within easy access of two exits so that in case anything goes wrong and someone pops my 'personal space bubble' without my permission, I will be able to escape easily. Also I will mentally map out the area and mark places that can I can hide behind to shield myself from gunfire. *total paranoia*

5. I am either extremely aware of my surroundings or completely oblivious. I will get in the car and my mom will drive to the grocery store, and I will get out and be like "Woooaaaah...where are we? I thought we were at the house?" XD That usually happens when I am reading a manga/book or just extremely engrossed in my thoughts.

6. My friends have tried to pinpoint times when I go from ultra-depressing to super-hyper and have so far made up this schedule:

8:00 AM - 11:00 AM: Serious, depressing, and grumpy

11:00 AM - 4:30 PM: Hyper, happy, well-focused and determined

4:30 PM - 8:00 PM: Grumpy, angsty, hates everything and is constantly hungry

8:00 PM - 8:00 AM: Super hyper, TOTAL GOOFBALL, happy, and generally much more pleasant to be around

And that concludes my post about why I am unique. ^_____^
