I had to laugh at this.
About, what, two years ago (or is it almost three now?) I was living in a place, earning only $140/wk (and I still owe all the taxes on it) and rent was $550 alone (then there was the power, phone, interent, food, etc).
My Mom offered to help (thankfully) get me into a new place (cheaper rent) but at one point she realised how much it would cost to move into most places (first, last, deposit, pet deposit, etc) and she made the comment that "Neither of us would care for it, but maybe you should just move in here for a while." She was referring to her and her boyfriend. I asked who the "neither of us" was and it occured to her that I might not like that idea any more than she or her boyfriend!
I love my Mom, I've seen her a lot since febuary (but not so much in the last month or so since I got a phone at the house). But living with them, not my cup of tea.
