Lost in Cyberspace

What happens to people when they vanish from all internet exsiance? Seriously, I've known people online before that were really active online, and then one day they just stopped responding to emails, stopped getting on IM, stopped updating their websites and stopped posting on message boards. Sure, for the first six month you can figure they're just grounded. But after 2 or 3 YEARS...

It's quite freaky. o.o

Interesting. I've disappeared off the face of the Internet quite a few times, but that was back when I lived with my parents, and my internet access was beyond my control. I used to use Yahoo Messenger in those days. I've completely forgotten all my old internet friends from those earlier days.

I used to stop posting on message boards during the school year. I would post a lot during the summer, then disappear for 10 months. Obviously I'm not doing that here. The board had a lot of people who liked to argue, so I would often have to spend an hour writing huge posts in defense of my beliefs; thus, I didn't have time to deal with it during the school year.
