What are your plans for Christmas?

Yup...so what are they?

My hubby and I plan to do a lot of driving this year in order to spend time with both of our families. We will be driving 3 hours from our place to see his parents and then an additional 6 hours to see mine. But the drive will definitely be worth it. I can't wait to see everyone! When we get there we plan to do the usual Christmas things. Ya know...spend time with everyone, eat lots of good food, and open presents. ^_^

My family isn't going anywhere this year because our situation is a bit hectic, and a "vacation" would probably just mean added stress. But I've always liked staying home for Christmas anyway.

Spending a wonderful 2 weeks with my boyfriend--one week with my family, one week after Christmas with his--including a night at the Nutcracker. My parents bought our family Trans-Siberian Orchestra Tickets for December 18th, so we're all very excited about that. We're also going to see Narnia as a family, have a REAL tree (which is unheard of in our part of Texas--too expensive!), and probably watch The Santa Clause for the 50th billionth time (my dad loves it). I'm looking forward to being with my family again after 4 months of being away at school.

My family usually does the same thing each Christmas, which is celebrate at my parents' house. My brother will be spending it in Iraq this year, however, so there'll be less food and stuff than usual. Oh, and I'm heading up a special online gift exchange, hee! home from school after exams (driving 10 hours ><) then staying home for the holidays unless we go to Grannys.....(more driving tho ><) and working and sleeping in ^^

Spending my favorite month of the year without a beautiful girlfriend, (again), going to grandmother's house and stuffing with turkey, pies, and all the other great goodies grandma makes, hang out with friends, and endless hours of gaming on my Famicom.

Nothing really exciting. Just taking it easy with my family. I think my brother will be bringing his girlfriend and there kid down at some point. I am starting to get more used to the idea that I will be an uncle come Feb. >.<

Most likely I will be spending time with family during the winter break. However, my family does the traditional "Christmas" celebrations (such as gift giving) on Saint Nicholas' day, so that will be done rather soon. Following that, if I am home we will likely meet extended family, do Advent and then have some ceremony on the actual date.

goin to texas to see me grandfather and my fathers brother and his wife and his son. theres another son but hes in college and engaged so i dont know if he'll be there.

Well depending on the weather here in Wasington DC, I could ended up working if there is snow or anything freezing falling from the sky.
If not then I would be with my parents Christmas morning here or packing the car and driving an hour and a half with my parents to my brother's in the Virginia mountains to open gifts there with his wife, daughter, son and his family, his step daughter and her husband. Then acourse we could go to his house the next day since I have Monday off because Christmas is on a Sunday.

I plan on spending Christmas with my mother and we'll celebrate Christmas at my father's on New Years. It's nice to celebrate the holiday on different days with different parts of the family. Especially when there's a two hours drive between the two. It'll be much less hectic this year.

I may also spend time in the Land of Mave if work demands it.
