I'm sorry, but that got a little laugh outta me. I mean, how dumb do you have to be to get so wrapped up in a game like that? It's kinda pathetic really. I feel bad for him, but dang.

The choice has been made. There's no looking back. I won't let up, back up, give up, or shut up. My focus clear. My path is straight. My God, reliable. I'm a disciple of Christ.

Gods plan is like the sun. its too big and bright to look at directly, and sometimes the rain clouds cover it, but sometimes the plan dapples through the clouds and we can see beautiful glimpses of what he has in store for us.

Yeah I have to agree it is pathetic.

This is like what the second or third like this in Korea?

Thats both pathetic and tragic. Off course we all know how addictive the Internet can be...but there has to be limits.

There was another case where a kid in Hong Kong who played Diablo 2 (this was years ago) came home one day to find that his game account got hacked into, and without thinking, committed suicide by jumping out of his window (he lived in a high rise apartment block).

These people need Jesus Christ. I think that's why it's a good idea to try to find out more about the people we are playing with in online games. Sometimes during a lull in the game action we can chat to them, find out what they do for a living, like / dislike, etc.

Who knows, we may have helped them get through another tough day or see things from another perspective.

Based on other news sources, he was playing Starcraft. Apparantly, online gaming is treated as something akin to a sport in South Korea.

You know, I don't even know how he did it this long. I can't concentrate properly unless I eat and sleep...
