..... pass on that.

I have been working at a flying-j truck stop for 4 days now. and I never realized until I started working at flying-J.... how incredible stupid people can be, and how ignorant they can be.
just today.... about 20 minutes before I shift ended, I was cleaning the sink in the mens bathroom. when I herd laphing coming from one of the stalls. the guy came out laphing his butt of. he walked up to me and said "the toilet is flooded" and walked out.
I walked over to the stall.... and.... (this is grose) about of inch of water on the floor..... and his crap :mutter: (not joking) as well. it took me about 7 minutes just to unclog the stupid thing. then until the end of my shift to mop it all up.
during this entire time about 8 people just sat a laphed at me. I almost got in trouble by the boss becouse I had other stuff to do as well. but no I had to clean up crap while people just sat a laphed at me.

I theank I am starting to hate people. :mutter: :bang: :stressed: :sniffle:

Sorry about that. It's tough sometimes. I worked at a stop for a little over a week and I didn't like it at all. In the first few days, I had a guy cuss me for carding him. Some people are just mean. I was in tears, but I kept on for a little while. But, I just couldn't stand it. I was also working another job in the day time so I was REALLY stressed out on top of everything else, as well as going to school. :(
But, anyways. Just try and keep your chin up and also make sure to take every safety precaution when something like that happens.

There really isn't a point if you are hurt or offended by others laughing though...

I am guessing on this. The person who was laughing walked out and told people what he did to the toilet while you were cleaning the restroom and thought it made him look like a giant amoung man? Most people who do something like this usually sneak away and never tell anyone. I guess they are afraid they will have to pay for what they did.
I don't know how many times I have walked into a restroom somewhere and found a unusable toilet and report it.
Where I work we had a toilet that was just covered with a unbelievable mess and didn't get cleaned for weeks because no one wanted to do it.
I think it had to be steam cleaned with disinfected.

That's just sad. Some people are real jerks, aren't they?
"Ah, look, Kouryuu...the birds are returning north. Can you see? ...Kouryuu. Who do you suppose decided birds are free? They can fly wherever they choose...but if there's no branch for them to return to...they might regret having wings, don't you think? Perhaps true freedom...is having a home to return to."
