ok...I'm not really sure where to put this because it contains both a statement and kind of a prayer request.....oh well.
I've decided to not post as much on here....at least....until my faith becomes stronger....I don't want to chance doing anything to anyone else on here that I'll later regret....

and...

I have an exam in biology today...but I've had so many tests I ran out of time to study...so...I stayed up till 1:20 studying and got back up at 5:30 to study more....I have two biology exams toady...and I've only had time to study for one...x_x then....tomorow my Abnromal Psychology midterm is due online...which...once again....I have had no time to study for....and I'm not doing that well in it. *sigh* So...my biology class starts at 9:30....and ends at 3:30. then...I go bowling with my dad....then...when we get home...no relaxation...go back to studying 9 chapters....I pray that Nik *dragonboy* calls me tonight....x_x I need a break. Oh...and he's also coming over wednesday...so..that means I have to have my midterm done before then.....*wants to curl into a ball and die*

I really feel like giving up completely....if you couldn't tell already.... :waah!:

In Matthew 17:14 a man came to Jesus explaining the condition of his son who was suffering with seizures. He explained to Jesus that he had taken him to the Lord's disciples but that they could not heal him. Christ in His grace and mercy healed him at that moment.

Interesting that Jesus did not take this matter to the disciples, but 17:19 says that the disciples came to Jesus and asked, "Why couldn't we drive it out?" Jesus replied to them, "Because you have so little faith. I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountian, 'Move from here to there' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you."

Jesus did not advise his followers to seperate themselves from the world or their daily living in order to develop their faith. Faith can only be strengthened in relation to our interaction with others and life itself. Faith is constantly tested and developed and this will be true for the rest of you life. Faith is not developed in such a way that it remains at the same level constantly. If you look at the life of Peter you will see his faith rising and falling.

When Jesus confronted His disciples about their lack of faith it was not done in condemnation. He was trying to show them how important faith would be in their future ministry. If you are facing problems that seem as big and immovable as a mountian, you need to turn your eyes from the mountain and look to Christ for more faith. Only then will your work for him become useful and vibrant.
"The secret of a good sermon is to have a good beginning and a good ending, then having the two as close together as possible."

You seem to be sighting a specific incident here as a reason for posting less. I don't know what that was or who was involved, but I think you are taking the wrong path. It is always regrettable to say or do something you shouldn't, and wanting to withdraw afterwards is natural, but it may not be the best course. Instead, be up front and apologize. State exactly what you think you did wrong and compare it to the feelings of the person you feel you hurt. Use this knowledge to improve so that you are less likely to do it again. But the only way you will truly become less likely to offend and more likely to edify is to remain active in the community.

Ultimately, you must make the right decision for yourself based on the merits of the incident, but I hope you will choose to remain as active as you have been in the past.
