Has anyone here tried to sign up with Anime League? Well dont if you havent because they went cruising through this site found my name and emailed me asking me to join. I joined after i checked out the site a bit but then when i first posted a new thread...no one was of any help. Im not going back thats for sure. I'm just glad that this site is no where near as rude as that other site was to me. And atleast when i was new here you all welcomed me nicely and didnt do anything to make me feel bad. So thanx.

If you get an email about Animeleague.net from a guy named mike or something dont go to the site. They arent as well put together as this site is. Thank you guys! hip hip hooray for CAA!

So they were privately advertising on CAA. Isn't there some kind of rule against that or does it have to be public to be breaking it.

But anyway yeah that's why I love this site so much everyone gets along and respects eachother.

Yes, there is a rule about that. We strongly frown on people using CAA to spam or otherwise abuse the site to contact members off-boards who haven't requested to be contacted, and people who do that will be immediately kicked off when discovered. We reserve the right to take other action as well.

If someone here is getting spam E-mail from this guy, please notify the administrators and we'll do our best (within our abilities) to put a stop to it. In the meantime, do not reply to those messages (it only confirms that your address works); simply hold on to them because we might ask for the headers to trace their origination point(s).
