How many of you would really care if somone on here died or killed themselves?

I'm really new, I don't really know anyone that well yet, but I know I would be hurting to see anyone go, especially another believer. We're all part of the same Body of Christ and when one part suffers, the whole Body suffers.

Sheesh, I did not think anyone would want to start something like this, but anyways, I would be sad and I would be suffering as well to know one of my friends I have or I have not met has passed away. We should not think that no one will care if we die because that is not true, we love each other and God loves us too. Pray for comfort, for forgiveness, and try the best to make friends if that is the trouble.

To think about death is to think about not having God in your life. If there is anyone here who feels that no one cares, that you want to end it all, do not, do not think that way, because speaking for everyone here, we are here for you. We are brothers and sisters in Christ.

I saw more people say they'd help than I exspected, I've got a lot to answear here,

Lunis-I must not have been looking or ahve been blind, The replies to this thread alone gave me a good slap in the face for a wake up.

I see less of people being helped here and having there problems solved here than any other form where people simply want to help each other out

And about the support thing, no I did not think badly the moment, the truth is I stopped coming a lot because I felt no one really cared and I had no friends, I went to far useing the words "screwed over twice" and im seeing how a lot of you are trying to help me, which in all honesty, surprises me, I've NEVER seen a person trying to help another after such a post as mine.

I have more support from a secular post than here, than I EVER got here, Just think about it.

A VERY long time ago I signed in here udner a different name on a different server, A Anti Anime thread was psoted, only people that have been here form the begining on all servers will remember this, the one that posted name was D3monhunter, I actually know him in life, he is to this dya my best friend, of course that being the case then, people wernt to nice to me since I was his friend, no one liked his thread and some of them didnt realy like me. back then I was to young to understand that a few people dont make the whole thing bad. But I never really thought about it again for a while.

Look at your slelf, your lifestyle, your everything and ask yourself, are you really acting like a christian?

I wasnt saying I knew how your lifestyle is, Im asking you to look at it.

If there's ANYONE on CAA I;d cry for if they died, it'd be them, DESPITE horrible things in our pasts...I'd still cry for them.
And to Vash_the_Plant and Veta_Orilion as well. They're my bff's here in FL and I'd cry for them so much...
And I;d cry for Inkhana, Yeito, UC, the Knights, Ashley, heck..I'd cry for you all.
So if anyone here is thinking of suicide, talk to me first because I'M the one who will cry for you...even if we've never met.

I would feel bad, yet my life would go on. We are all kind of anonymous here on the board, in spite of the pics of ourselves some of us have posted. Please don’t hesitate to ask us for help, but we can only do so much – pray for you and give you some encouragement through a post or PM. If you have serious issues, I would encourage you to seek out help. Meet someone face to face like a pastor or a counselor.

That’s my two cents anyway. More importantly, know that you are loved and you have friends here DS. I think you have already seen that even though anger is often a first response for a lot of us even when you are only associated with someone who flames us, but after the emotions cool down a bit, we still care and want to encourage you.

I don't really like the feel of this thread, but I'll answer anyways. I would really care. Honestly. I've never even be an aquaintance of anyone who committed suicide. So I would definitely care.

Actually, I think this is a very important question. I suppose it depends what you mean by "care".

I've been on a lot of boards over the years. On some of them, people would talk from time to time about other members who left before I'd joined. Even though I never knew them (but could read their posts), there was a certain sense of loss. Like Donne's "No man is an Island...", there was a sense that something was missing.

So, if someone on CAA committed suicide, or if they died, I think I'd feel that loss. Life, of course, would go on, but there would be that hole there. Does that mean I care? I suppose so. I guess I would feel more caring if that person contemplating suicide came and said they were thinking of it; that would spur me to action (prayer, talking, some sort of intervention). That would be an outlet for my caring, but what remedy exists for the person who has already died? I can do nothing except console the living. I guess that, too, is caring, but in a different way.

I guess we all have a need to know our lives are validated, that we mean something to someone. That, I believe, is planted in us by God, and meant to be filled by God and, by extension and God's design, each other. "Love one another as I have loved you".

I hope you find consolation in all the answers that have been provided here.
