Xanga...I always thought that was a journal like LiveJournal. And their ambitions are to secretly obtain private information and implant bar codes into the brains of their users, for top-secret governmental intelligence.

I thought Xanga was an Internet programming language. But I use BASIC, so what do I know? *shrugs*

Oh, those things are great! They're cheesecake stuffed inside a thin, crispy shell with cinnamon and sugar on it.

..........
.............Oh, wait. I'm thinking of Xangos. Nevermind.

What's the difference between journal and blog? Isn't blog=web log?

I do have a Xanga, but I don't really write in it too much.

Journal and Blog are the same thing to me... traditionally, "web logs" is where you post your opinions on current events and stuff, but it kinda evolved into the generic internet lingo term for web journals...

Xanga is an addictive LJ, for sure. Personally, I don't understand why someone would want their deepest thoughts and feelings read by strangers. That's why I use mine for humor! And plus I heard that chicks dig it.

I don't keep a xanga, but I did recently start a blogger about my nights as a waitress in a seafood restaraunt--one of these days I plan to write a memoir or a manga based off it. The address is: http://www.waitressblog.blogspot.com

My biology teacher reads a live journal so he always knows what's going on around town... it's hilarious 'cause he'll mention it in class and everyone asks him why in the world he is reading people's private thoughts and he laughs and asks why in the world they would post their private thoguhts online for the world to see... so I don't use one (plus I don't do well with journal-esque stuff)

...Oh wait, that's a sanga. My mistate.
Depend on it. God's work done in God's way will never lack God's supply. He is too wise a God to frustrate His purposes for lack of funds, and He can just as easily supply them ahead of time as afterwards, and He much prefers doing so.
- J. Hudson Taylor
I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?" "Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet. You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times." It was all true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach. He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.
