Back From Church Camp

Postby haru_bay_nay » Sun Jun 20, 2004 9:00 pm

Hey everyone, just got back from Falls Creek, and had a great time. Seriously, it was the best week of my life. I didn't want to come home! I really got closer to God and learned a lot. I also feel that maybe I'm being called to special ministries. I told my family group mom that, and she supported me. I highly recommend this to everyone. Many people were saved, recomitted their lives, or another made another important decision. It was fantastic! God bless! :thumb:

Thats great haru_bay_nay. Im really glad you enjoyed your time at camp.
I always loved my days/nights/and summers at camp.

I know God used my time there to profounly shape who I am today.

Very cool :thumb:

Depend on it. God's work done in God's way will never lack God's supply. He is too wise a God to frustrate His purposes for lack of funds, and He can just as easily supply them ahead of time as afterwards, and He much prefers doing so.

I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?" "Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet. You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times." It was all true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach. He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

Thanks! It's cool to find someone who knows what I'm talking about! Falls Creek made my relationship with God so much stronger. I'm already looking forward to next year!

It's nice to hear that you had a good time at church camp. I can't say the same about me when I went, but that's a different story. And Kawaiineko, I hope you have a good time when you go to Impact.
