Caa

Caa

Postby AnimePriest » Mon May 10, 2004 12:49 pm

I am really glad that CAA is here for all us Christians who love anime, but I can't help but feel a bit sad that this is the ONLY site on the subject, I have only found one other thing on a site called Christian Forums they have a small forum there for anime and manga but nothing like CAA, I am in no means talking bad about CAA or anything or saying it is inadeqate (UHH spelling!!!!) in anyway it's just it's kind of sad that there is only one source for Christian Otaku, I hope u all understand what i mean.
Do you ever feel like breaking down?
Do you ever feel out of place?
Like somehow you just don't belong
And no one understands you

Do you ever wanna run away?
Do you lock yourself in your room?
With the radio on turned up so loud
That no one hears you screaming

No you don't know what it's like
When nothing feels alright
You don't know what it's like to be like me

To be hurt
To feel lost
To be left out in the dark
To be kicked
When you're down
To feel like you've been pushed around
To be on the edge of breaking down
And no one's there to save you
No you don't know what it's like

Welcome to my life :sniffle:

Press 1 to rant on how there's no other anime sites
Press 2 to poke fun at Texans
Press 3 to say this is a such a stinking cool site, there are no words to describe it.

To be fair before MelodyMaker or Keely comes stomping on me, there is another site similiar to ours called Anime Angels.

But thank you for the sincere compliments anyway; we love being here!

*presses 2* Texans--- um . . . live in the second biggest state. So there.

*goes off to practice insults and eat chocolate.*
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality, visit the Invisible Children home page.

True, there is Anime Angels, which is considerably older than CAA. Hopefully, our popularity will also sponsor other sites with similar goals, though CAA will always be my home for the purpose.

I am glad to see you are doing so much work, Volt. And for including The Fall in that work somewhere, at least. Honestly, I do appreciate it.
