Netflix

I'm thinking about signing up for Netflix.

Any one have it? What do any of you think of it and their service?

It's very nice and reliable, but I don't recommend getting it unless you can remember to send the movies back quickly. I have it, but I forget to send my movies back all the time so I don't really get my money's worth out of it. XD;;;

Well, the only rental place here is Hollywood and old DVDs are $3.50 for five days. We would rent DVDs more often if it were a bit cheaper.

For us, we'd watch the movie and stick it right back in the mail box, seeing as how mail delivered to the house, eh?

I have Netflix, though it's really my mom's account. I used it a lot back when we first got it, but I stopped. I want to start using it again, though. They have a lot of anime and you can even watch some movies online now, which is nice.

For 1 week I had Netflix because my roommates convinced me to do it. It seemed like a good service as long you return the movies quickly...

Netflix would be perfect for you then. My family has had it for a long time and my only complaint is that the newer movies usually have a bit of a waiting time when the dvds come out. But they'll send the next movie on your list available instead of wasting your time and money.

Netflix is a really good service. I send a DVD back, it only takes 2 to 3 days to get the next one. It's fast. 0_0

But yeah, like everybody else said, you gotta send your movies back otherwise, you're not gonna get your moneys worth. I'm thinking about getting Gamefly, but first I need to get newer game systems. ¬_¬;;

Netflix is pretty good and pretty fast. I like it, but like ShiroiHikari was saying, I tend to forget to send em, hehe. But I like it and there is a busload of anime on there. I'm currently getting some of them on there as well.

If you've got the time to watch three movies a week (assuming you bought the 3 movie plan, for example), then yeah; it's a good deal. Fast service, very few mistakes. I hardly watch any movie more than once, so renting suits me, These days I have trouble finding viewing time, but that's not Netflix's fault. With the unlimited plans, you can also watch more stuff instantly online now, if your computer can handle it.

My family and I have used Netflix for at least 2-3 years now, and we've never had any problems with it. I think Netflix is a great service as long as you send your movies back; they have a fantastic selection and a fast turnaround time. XD

If I were to post my opinions on netflix here, it would just be repeating what everyone else has said.

Get it, it's great.

It's a great service. Good way to get through anime series and expensive movies that are hard to find. The biggest problem I've run into is the fact that sometimes you might want to see an anime series and they don't have all the discs, but that's not a very common problem with the series I've put on my queue.

We've had it for a while, and we've never been disappointed. We used to have the 3 discs at a time service, which was nice. It allowed me and my dad to get some action movie or anime, my mom to get something, and then have a more whole family movie as well, but then we ended up downgrading to the one disc at a time, but we still go through a decent amount of movies for our price.

Watching the movies online is a nice bonus too; I've done that on a few occasions.

All in all I'd say it's worth it. If you take a while returning movies, then you might want to go for the limited plan (no idea what the limits are though, sorry), but otherwise even just 1 disc at a time unlimited is worth the money and they tend to be very good about delivery times.

It works for me. They have a lot of anime, also they have a lot you can tap into streaming online as long as you have an account with them too. That feature is unlimited I believe.

Netflix successfully what little remnants of a social life I had left. Good for it!

Personally, I'm the kind of guy who'd rather rent movies and games in person, despite how expensive it's gotten (for the games, anyway). That said, I have nothing against Netflix and Gamefly. If you really want to sign up for one of them, I won't tell you that you shouldn't.

It is great without it I would have missed out on a lot of good anime.
If you have a 360 hooked up to the intenet with a gold account you can watch movies streamed on your TV through the 360.

Netflix has been a great program for me, and has a good selection of anime, as well as tv series and movies. Like everyone's said here, the wait can be tough (which is why I upgraded to the 2 disc plan). But the pros definitely outweigh the cons.

Of course the plan you get depends on your situation, I guess. If you're watching them by yourself, you could probably get a more unlimited plan, like the 2 disc, while if your trying to get a bunch of people together, it can hard to get stuff watched quickly and returned, so a 1 disc or a limited plan might be better.
