This was a great Christian game, kinda old, though. I was wondering if anyone had ever played it or knew about any sites on it...

Hmm...well, go to http://www.saintsofvirtue.com for all of the details. You can't buy it there, though. If you are wanting to purchase it, try Amazon or http://www.christianbook.com.

I hate to be a spoilsport, but I've never heard anything good about it ;)

Honestly though... I saw it but at the time it came out I coudln't run it, later when I could run it I couldn't afford it :D it's some sort of FPS action/adventure game with a Christian spin on it, ain't it?

Don't mind me... I got a bit of a crital streak when it comes to things like this.. I'm mostly harmless.

That depends on where you've heard things about it. I own it, and I've played through it several times. It is not a fast paced, high realism action blasting game.

The combat is somewhat sluggish and you only have 3 weapons at your disposal. The enemies are slow and not very smart, to be sure. However, FPS combat is not the point of Saints of Virtue.

SOV has incredible symbolism, puzzles, allegory, and imagery. Even with an old raycasting engine that may be considered stone age today, SOV excels at making the world of your heart seem alive and full of mystery and wonder.

That, I think, is the drawing power of SOV. Not lightning fast enemies and awesome firepower like Catechumen or Ominous Horizons, but the intrigue, charisma, biblical paralles and powerful emotion that the game evokes.

That's just my take on it, though. I have a funny streak as well.
