Lord of the Rings RPG to be released!

Postby Kireihana » Mon May 03, 2004 8:06 pm

No, this is not anything like Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers or Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King that have been previously released. This is a full-fledged RPG that includes events from all three films and lets you interact with the characters. It is to be released for the GameCube, PlayStation 2, and Xbox. And the executive producer of the game has worked with Square and was involved with the Final Fantasy series - sound promising! ^__^

The game is to be released sometime this fall.

Hmm.. some of the screenies have graphics that look they are from the RotK game. Hopefully they will improve the graphics a bit. EA has done a fairly good job with the LOTRs franchise... (the Battle of Middle Earth looks very promising) Otherwise, I'm happy to get an RPG for my 'cube.

This game did attract my attention. Especially with the references to Final Fantasy that the one guy made.

I'm definitely keeping my eye on this one. It looks promising.
