I know several people have mentioned that they are Pokemon fans, and I was just wondering. I picked it up today, but I haven't played it yet.

No Cube... though I'm glad to hear they finally made a console RPG of Pokemon, rather than another clone of the "Stadium" games which mostly just let you battle Pokemon in 3D.
Maybe in the next year I'll get a Cube for all the cool Cube stuff I want to play.

No, though I'm glad they made it, for reasons as stated by madphilb.
I've given up on Pokemon. I'll stick by it as a great game idea (its just the franchise and fan base that's stupid), but I've gotten somewhat tired of the endless new games. If one of them is really original I might become interested again.

I actually like Pokemon...but I probably won't be getting Colleseum. I loved the Pokemon games in any form they came in, but when they kept adding new Pokemon the whole thing just kinda died. =/ I stopped caring about new Pokemon after Gold and Silver...ah well, sounds like an interesting game nontheless. Maybe I'll rent it and see what its about.

*ressurects old thread, XD*
I've been a Pokémon game fan for a long time (although the anime didn't do much for me), and I was seriously excited about a 3D RPG (and also a sort of "Stadium sequel"), but I was a little disappointed in Colosseum.
The graphics aren't bad, and the story's original, and the character designs eventually grew on me, but I just found the game kinda... boring. I miss exploring routes, and capturing and raising any pokemon you want. Also I dislike double battles to single, and the whole game is double battling. (Well there's a single option in Colosseum mode). I think I've gotten as far as The Under, and haven't played the game in a month, which is highly unusual for me with new games, and even more so for a Pokémon one.
I honestly think this game would have been fine as just the Colosseum Mode with more Stadium features, because the battle sequences are really nice and some of the battle arenas are beautiful. Some of the music's pretty cool as well. I was really irked though, that you have to connect with a GBA with a Ruby/Sapphire game in it in order to multiplayer battle.
