Metroid Prime 2

Does anyone know anything about this new Metroid game they're making? It looks really cool (from the screenshots I've seen) but they haven't let anything out about stuff like plot, or how much the game will be like the old Metroid Prime or anything! Argh!
Some input would be highly appreciated!

From the ending of Metroid Prime I assume that Metroid Prime is NOT dead and has in fact integrated the Phazon suit into itself.

I'm thinking that the Phazon Suit itself (well, not itself, but the Metroid Prime in the form of the Phazon Suit) is gonna run amok in a plot somewhat similar to Fusion, and you'll end up fighting it like the SA-X. That would work...
They can't leave an ending like that just HANGING! *anticipation*

Ok... the boys at Retro Studios (makers) have been pretty quite, but this is what they've said so far....
1. multiplayer mode
2. improved graphics
3. deeper story
4. larger envoriments
Should be released around the same time as Halo 2. Late Fall. Btw, it's gonna kick Halo 2's butt as we all know.
I know Retro Studios can pull this off, but my only concern is the Framerate issue...

There was a 15-second Metroid Prime 2 teaser video released about the time that they first announced the game.
Really couldn't tell much from it though.

Hehe, well, I'd expect this from one with Master Chief as his avatar. Halo 2 is going to be an awesome and exciting game to play (which I am dieing to play), but I personally believe Metroid Prime 2 can top it... single players wise... in the multiplayer arena Halo 2 does win hands down... along with co-op (it better be there).

Metroid Prime and Halo cannot be compared by any stretch of the imagination.
Metroid Prime is a 3D adventure 1st person shooter. you go up as much as you do side to side. It's about exploring, not shooting. The weapons serve to open new areas as much as kill stuff
Halo is a traditional FPS - Team play and Co-Op and shooting stuff with a variety of weapons that dont really open new areas.
The two may both be FPS but that's where the line is drawn. They have NOTHING to compare after that!
(Metroid isn't a multi-style game, it doesnt suit a multi so I figure its gonna suck)

There is a new halo 2 trailer at gamespot, a bit of language. show a lot of new features. when i get it, i am gonna spend hours shooting off warthog hubcaps and whack tires
its comin november ninth.
