Your worst game deal

In Norway the premium prices for games can go as high as 70 bucks. Guess which game I bought for a similar price, robocop for the pc. Glitches galore, gameplay that is hard to identify and don't get me started on the graphics. I bought it for a hope that it would re-spark some past memories, but it seemed to kill those memories off quite effectively.
So, what is your worst game deal?

None? I'm a smart shopper. XD
Well, I can think of one. But I actually never got the product.
I was on Ebay buying a "copy" of Pikmin 2 for the Gamecube, but it turned out the seller didn't have a copy and was stealing money. I had almost lost $37 but thankfully the money was sent back to me two weeks later.
It was over a year before I bought anything from Ebay again though. XD
Edit: Ohhhh. This is just for a game, even a highly rated one, that you just didn't like. Then in that case...
*holds up anti-rock shield*
Kingdom Hearts. I went into the immense amount of hype for the game only to be disappointed by the lose story, terrible level design, and generic enemy and boss fights. I completed it, but I felt I had wasted over 46 hours of my life.
Final Fantasy X. I think many will agree with me that Tidus was enough to make anyone quit the game half-way through.
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. I'm a Nintendo fanboy, and a Zelda lover yes (I've played Majora's Mask 30 times now). But Twilight Princess was in some ways a step backwards for me in the series. Especially with the story, which in my mind, was very poor for what the past games had done. And thusly, my drive to continue playing the game had sunk dramatically. I only won the game once, and sold it. It's the only Zelda game I've ever sold and nearly lost the drive to complete.
Myst IV. I'm a big Myst fan, owning all the games except this one. Myst IV, while having breathtaking graphics and what at first seemed like a complex and mysterious story, including my love for the Spire age, feel to pieces near the end of the game at Serenia, the last age. As any Myst fan would say, "Not only was it the most un-Myst like age of all time, but it was too strange even for Myst". I lost my drive and never completed it.

I'm gonna be pelted by rocks, but Final Fantasy twelve... I just... No matter what I did, I couldn't enjoy the game. I traded it in for Gears of War and felt instantly better... ... ellipsises...

Back when the PS2 first came out, KB Toys had the only available units for sale. The suggested retail price was $300 but KB was selling them for $350 and you had to buy three games.
They were the only ones in town with PS2's, so I went ahead and bought it. I never played two of the games and I've never bought a single thing from KB Toys since.

I would have traded it for Gears of War too.
I'm not an FFXII fan at all.

Well, I'm always buying things when I see how such of a 'good deal' or a rare item they are, and then end up finding them cheaper elsewhere later :/ Always seems to happen to me :/ Oh, and when I bought Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire from a buyer on eBay that was apparently pumping them out of his own factory :/

In contrast, I think the PSX was one of the best consoles ever, second to only the SNES... however, I wish I had gotten to play a Saturn. Panzer Dragoon Saga is said to be one of the 'buried treasures' of RPG's... And despite my love of teh Yuffie, I pretty much could care less about FFVII. An awkward thing to say, but it's true.

I love Aerith. I can't help but admit it. XD I also have to give any of the other famous FF's a try yet too. VI and IX especially. And yes it is a hidden treasure. A very valuable one.
P.S. I still need to buy an SNES one day. Five consoles is enough right now though...

Actually, I have two: Star Ocean 3 and Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles.
I spent $50-some dollars on the director's cut edition of Star Ocean 3. I had read good things about it, it had nice-looking art, and as a fan of RPGs, I figured I would enjoy it. I was terribly, terribly wrong about that. XD Long story short, I ended up hating the game and traded it back into EB Games...for a whopping $11. XD
FFCC was even worse. I went so far as to put that one on pre-order, I was so excited for it. I finally bought the game and played it. An hour or two in, I wondered when the story would start. A few more hours in, I realized there was no story. XD Perhaps the game had good multi-player aspects; I don't know, I never tried it. Multi-player is pretty useless when you're the only one that cares, anyways. XD I traded that one back in for a grand total of $8.
Those games robbed me. XD

FFCC, oh my dear. I needed like a net FAQ to manage the sand ocean level. That game lacked one thing in my opinion, a fun factor.

Star Ocean 3 was kinda fun, and FCC was pretty decent. SO3 kept me interested pretty much all the way through, but some boss battles were too easy or just insanely hard. FCC just needed more do to instead of just bashing enemies all the day long.
I havent had a bad deal in finding a viedo game. I have just receive crappy games like Disney Party and StarFox Command. Both games are just horrid.

I blew sixty bucks earlier this year for Sonic and the Secret Rings.
I played it for an hour and got bored with it. I haven't touched it sense.

Star Ocean III was an excellent game but Crystal Chronicles....
Corrie, I'm just sorry.

FFCC is terrible but I think the worst deal I have ever made was getting the PS1 game Kiss Pinball for $10. Yeah that's a good deal but OH MAN, that game is terrible. It's not even worth one cent, not just the 10 dollars that I paid for it.

$40 for Sonic Heroes.
Honestly, any amount of money for that game is a rip-off.

And it's so hard too >_< The bosses on Team Rose are SOOOO hard! One boss took me at LEAST 45 minutes. The last boss.... yeah, I just haven't attempted since^^ I think I got it for around that too, and now I see it all the time for 19.

There were only three "Legitimate" bosses for each play-through, of which the first two were generically simple. I don't consider an unimaginative onslaught of enemies as a proper end-level boss, and the team battles were so confusing, you'd lose because you had no clue what was going on.
To be fair, though, a small handful of the levels were fun.

Sonic Hero's really is that bad?
Awwww, I was thinking of buying that game. The reviews were good for it...
But then, I do get motion sick from the 3-D Sonic games, so I can't really argue. XD

Viewtiful Joe was a disappointment for me. I'd heard a lot of great things about it and that it had won Game of the Year, so I picked up a used copy at my local EB Games. To this day I've no idea what's so great about it. Maybe it's the fact that I didn't play it until so many years after its release and by then other titles had made use of whatever it introduced to the industry. I dunno....

Sonic Adventure 2 was the last decent 3D Sonic game. Sonic is dead to me now, personally. I miss him. His life was far too short.
Sonic T. Hedgehog
R.I.P
1991-2001
Hero of a Golden Era.
Fell in the line of duty.
Eggman didn't do it.
Sonic Team did.
ST's logo of evil now hangs over us now in this era of darkness.
Those were good times back then.
They are gone. We will never have them again.
They spit on your name today, Sonic.
But we will always remember you for what you were.
The good times we had together.
We miss you, Sonic.
Farewell.

Sonic Rivals?
*giggles*
Sorry, but speaking as a Sega fanboy (I'm both Nintendo and Sega dedicated), the Sonic Advance and Sonic Rush series for the GBA and DS respectively are far supreme (in my opinion). It still keeps the 2-D speed of the Sonic games of old, but also invents fresh ideas that DON'T RUIN THE SERIES.
Some might argue that they don't stand up to the greatness of the Genesis games, but I think any Sonic fan would rather take a great to even superb (in my opinion, it's the best series of Sonic games since the Genesis era).
Sonic Team also had nothing to do with them, even if their logo does appear. A small company named Dimps made the handheld versions, and they stay really well without adding too many clinches. XD
So, I would really recommend Sonic Advance 1-3 and Sonic Rush for the Sonic fan looking for a good Sonic game after the Dreamcast era ended (and it isn't over. They're making games into 2008 for it!)
Kyaaa, I need to get back on topic.

GEt the 2-D Sonic games for the GBA and the DS then. They're awesome. I completed Sonic Advance and had all the emeralds
And I liked Sonic Heros XD. Had it for XBox.
I didn't like Kingdom Hearts as much as I thought I would. I remember drooling over the ads on TV and they played the song and everything... Ahh...
Maybe I should pick it up again, at least for all the pretty guys in it...
And there are still a lot of games that I love that I gotta finish XD

The only thing about Sonic Rush is that a couple of tough parts on the Casino Zone, one I got over and one where you have to do this double jump thing which did NOT work for me.... I'll keep trying, but I'm at that place with both chars and yeah.... Oh well, I'm still getting the second one. As for the Advance ones, I'm still looking for the 2nd WITH the box... Oh, and if you look closely, THQ produced the 3rd one which I found odd, because they're known for making crappy movie/tv shows into games :/

I have an inside joke regarding that game.
"Kiss" Pinball as in the band KISS, correct?

No one has fallen to the bomber man 360 act zero game? *Shivers* 99 levels. no saves, no continues, 1 life, 1 stage design. If you die, then you are finished.

That is an awful idea. Just like that mech game for the original xbox a few years ago. Sixty bucks for the game - two hundred bucks for the controller - if you die you have to start over.
