I just want to know if anyone here has played it. It looks really good and all, but I also know it has had ratings less than 5/10 on game review sites... Soooo, thought I'd ask on here for others' opinions. Everyone's a critic, yeah, but *shrugs* who knows^^ Thought maybe someone on here has played and actually enjoyed it?

My friend has it and he said it's a solid RPG.
Haven't played it myself yet.

Most of the reviews have given it lackluster reports, but when in doubt, rent the sucker. Might be good!

With the FFXIII demo rumored to hit in July, I won't be wasting my money on this game after the things I've heard about it. I know the PS3 is badly in need of RPGs, but the 360 version has gotten almost universally bad reviews... I'll wait the painfully long time until FFXIII comes out...
EDIT: Rentals! Duh... I forgot about those, heh...

...I saw a clips for this, and while I suppose it isn't fair to judge from just clips...well.
Let's just say it's 3:45AM in my neck of the woods right now, my roommate is asleep, and I'm still experiencing the immense pain of having to stifle the hysterical, uncontrollable laughter this instigated.

I'm hoping those rumors about FFXIII becoming multiplatform turn out to be true. I'd like to play the game.

*cough*
Round and round we go, round and round we go, round and round and round we go.
It ain't going multiplatform. An Exclusive to 360 part of the 13 family is in the making, though... Online, I believe. MMO. So, you won't get the biggies, but you'll get something in the 13 world. [button="More of this is not needed"]FFXIII, FFXIII Vs, and MGS4 are sticking with the PS3. As someone put it, **AAA titles don*t need to go multiplatform. They carry the systems they are on** And THAT is a huge selling point, in and of itself. Knowing it*s popular enough to spark sales for the system is something that will draw attention to it. Besides, as soon as the PS2 stops selling, the PS3 will drop in price, so this hate is pretty unfounded since it*s based entirely on the price. If it weren*t, then people wouldn*t have ignored the 101 problems with Microsoft*s platform. [/button]
EDIT AGAIN: Nope, there isn't a way to delete responses entirely. Sorry... Hmm... Maybe it's better I didn't get to read the response?

Renting has its flaws too. I mean in my town there's only like, 2 places to rent from: one small-business owned place where you can rent a game for a cheap couple of bucks, but only for 1 night (limited selection too, and the price goes up quite a bit if you wish to have it for the week) and then there's Blockbuster that charges like 11 bucks Canadian for a whole week :/ Almost not worth it because sure, you're testing it out, but only for a week and when you go to buy it, have to add on full price on top of the large amount you just rented it for. Actually I just rented Cooking Mama for a week and I've been so busy it's almost not worth it :/

Hmm... That sucks... Here in the US, we have something called "gamefly" but I don't think they send stuff to Canada, or have a location in canada... Too bad...

If Gamefly doesn't send to Canada, I believe they do have a few services that work similarly.
