Gamepads...

well, my old gamepad (controller for emulators on computer) is dying it seems... It wasn't too expensive, so its death isn't too tragic for being over a year old. However, it has taught me that having a gamepad is 100x better than playing by keyboard.
I'm wondering, anyone have any suggestions for a new gamepad for me? I'd like to have one that has a joystick (I'd love to play my ripped Perfect Dark on PC), but at the same time money is a bit of an issue... I'd like to spend under 70 dollars on such a thing.

I would totally pick up a wired X-box 360 controller:

It's awesome and only $40.

My friend did the X-box one for his computer. Played FFXI on it, and it was quite nice, indeed.

hmm looks nice... I shall ponder upon this thing while asking for more suggestions. It's not that I just hate XBox, but... I hate XBox.
lol jk. I just love to shop around. People call me womanly because of that >_> but I like pinching pennies. (says the guy who wants to buy a 500 dollar pocket laser)

I used to have a pad that was identical to the dualshock... I'm not sure if it had the pressure sensitive thing like the dualshock 2, though... The only problem was it had a very short, retractable usb ribbon that ended up dying... I'll never get a controller with a retractable cord again...
The good thing is, gamepads are usually rather inexpensive... 20 dollars for a decent one, actually. It's Joysticks that are expensive.

I just ordered one of
these PS2->USB converters and a new PS2 controller as my current ones are showing their age, with the right mapping program you can play practically any game with this converter (including bemani sims with a dance pad or IIDX controller)

I would, but I don't have a PS2 controller.
Currently I'm really really considering the XBox360 one. That site cites a site that sells them for like 25. That's awesome and win.
