I just recently got this game for a hefty price of $9.99.
Pretty fun game. If you're expecting that this is an RPG considering it has the label "Squaresoft" on it, and the main character looks like a three-way mix of Squall, Zell, and Sora (Sora was actually based on this character) you picked up the wrong game, pal.
This is the character Sora is based on:
Pretty similar, right?
I'm not sure if I'm at the lost boss or not, but fighting Duaragon, the villian, and he has two forms so I'm assumming I've reached the end.
It's a fun game, overall, anyone agree?

A very good looking game when it first came out, that's about it... in my opinion. It was really short and that camera drove me nuts.
Yet, I bought the game anyway... used for $1.99 (not after a 20% employee discount). I couldn't resist it.
Anyways, speaking of the similarity to Sora... actually, Roxas' necklace reminded me of Sion's.

The camera was.....bad, and I hate how people bash its length. IT'S NOT AN RPG!!!!!

True. There have been many relatively short video games that were, and remain, quite excellent indeed, regardless of their length (e.g. Metal Gear Solid, Beyond Good and Evil).

This game was basically a movie that you played. I liked it. It did have some RPG elements. And I have always though Sion looked like sora almost identical

Wasn't that game relatively long for the genre of stealth/action game? I believe it spanned across 2 Discs, or maybe it was multiplayer or something?

i've seen this game at game stores. i considered buying it but when i checked out the reviews, it got around a 6/10 and i decided not to get it. i guess i might try it now since it takes me a pretty long time to beat video games. even games that people say are really easy to beat. and it's really cheap too.

I don't think its possible to beat in less than 4 hours. Its just running beat up this charecter, watch cinima beat another group of generic enemies and watch another cinimatic.

Ah, The Bouncer... I love this game. One of my favorites.
I always hoped that one day I'd see a Bouncer 2.
Heh, I know it's not going to happen.. but still. It would be awesome!

I just beat it yesterday. Hot ending. It's nice to see Square can make a game with a last boss that is not some Angelic figure.

I may have heard of this game. What's it about?

Looks cool, but my friend's version of it would never work right. >_>
Metal Geat is pretty short if you skip all the cutscenes. Sin and Punishment is another short, great game (beat it in about an under, including cutscenes; still great, though).

Durugon actually has three forms, if you keep playing long enough. My completely beefed Volt still can't beat the buggah...

Wait, so if you replay the game over and over there's more to see?

I can beat Myst in 10 minutes... That's not the right way to play it, really... Standard time for MGS is about 7 hours... You're skipping things if you beat it in 3 hours...
Also, are you going by the internal clock? Count it yourself and you may see that the internal clock doesn't count everything... That's what happens in SH3... It doesn't count loading screens, for one. The game said 4 hours, and It took almost 7 hours to actually beat it... (I hope that that extra 3 hours wasn't ENTIRELY load screens... Konami really needs to learn to not have those loading screens... Or, at least, make them shorter...

There are different endings and cutscenes depending on the characters you choose (the actual events don't change, but the point of view does). You can also unlock different characters by defeating certain bosses with certain characters.
Telling the story from three different points of view was the greatest strength this game had. The fighting was pretty generic, but more interesting than the standard fighting game formula of dropping you in a ring with an opponent and fighting a best of 3 match.
