Help! Where can I get a PS1 Memory Card?

I'm finally catching up on all those PS1 games that I never got to play as an N64 owner (the Final Fantasy series to be specific and several other RPGs) since I now have a PS2, which should be backwards compatible. But according to my brother I'm going to need a PS1 memory card in order to save my games.
EEK! I don't know where to find one! O_O
Are they still in stores? Like Wal-Mart? Or the gaming stores? Or am I going to have to try to get one used? Or will I have to delve into my brother's geekier connections and hope that someone has one that won't cost me an arm and a leg? Any advice would be appreciated ^^

Well, I would check the local EB Games or GameStop first, just to see. I did the exact same thing you're doing about 2 years ago, and they still had them in stock...I see no reason why they wouldn't have them in stock now, but I would bet that they'd have them before a place like Wal-Mart or Target would, since those stores don't specialize in gaming. If that doesn't work, though, I'm sure you could order one off-line (and it'd be even better if you could use a friend's old one XD).
Hope that helps!

At GameStop they have them for a hefty price of $1.99.

Gamestop isn't really sounding familiar, but I believe there's an EB Games somewhere around here. Well, I know where I'm going. Thanks all! ^^

I've picked up quite a few PS1 cards from Gamestop (they sell second hand equipment). If you do go this route, here's a V E R Y important tip.
Be sure to test it thoroughly. I've had a couple of these die a rather inoppertune times. ("Whaddaya mean I just wasted 5 hours leveling up those characters?!?)

I think amazon.com still sells them.

*shudders* I'm thinking that advice could be very important. That would probably be the point at which the wailing, yelling and cursing of all technology would begin O_o

I bought my last few sets at RadioShack. Can't confirm if they still carry them or not.

Somehow I can't help but wonder if Sony even still makes the things any more... o_o

GOT ONE! *does a victory dance*
I struck out at EB Games and there doesn't seem to be any Game Stops in my neck of the woods. But it turns out an electronics store called 'The Source' had two PS1 memory cards at two different locations on seperate ends of the city. I had to drive across town but I now have one and it seems to be working.
Thanks for all the advice, it helped me not to give up and kept me looking until I managed to find one ^_^
