In just 5 Hours, 20 Minutes, and 15 Seconds, Half-Life 2: Episode 1 will be unlocked
Who's excited? I sure am. I want to know what happens next!

I'm pretty amped about this! I must say I didn't care for the ending of Half Life 2 overly much so it would be particularily satisfying to play though more of a conclusion to the matter. I looks like we might find out a little more about the crafty G-Man too.
Bummer that I gave my cousin's Half Life 2 game back to him. Maybe I can borrow it again for a bit (say, 4 months)...
Time to hold aloft that crowbar again.

Well I just hope this doesn't disappoint, ive been waiting for so long. I don't have $20 right now so I won't be able to get it right when it comes out.

I've been debating for the last day or so about whether I should get it. I'll probably wait a bit but let us know how it turns out.

I know my brothers will be probably purchasing this right when it comes out,
I still haven't played half-life at all yet. I really want to, though.

Can someone explain this game? Wouldn't this be Episode 2 if Half Life 2 was already released?

Half-Life 1's release date was 1998
Half-Life 2's Release date was November 16, 2004. 3 AM Eastern Time Zone (12 Mountain Time)
Half-Life 2's ending is more or less a cliffhanger. Half-Life 2 Episode 1 picks up from there.
I'll explain the story later Tom, right now I'm playing it XD

Hooollyyy crap. I just finished it.
It's quite a cliffhangery ending. I can't WAIT till episode 2 comes out.
Tom, here you got. Read it

I LOVE half-life so much. It has the most intricate plot for a FPS I've ever laid my eyes upon.

You beat it... THAT fast? Is it really that short of a game?

"six hours," is what Valve said; the same as the SiN episodes they're releasing. I think that's if you're completely clueless though.

They said in an interview that instead of doing half-life 3 they were going to do it in an episode thingy. It sounds a little more original than half-life 3 to me.

Well, Half-Life 3 is a definate. It'll most likely appear in like... a bajillion years later though.

Actually they interview with a guy who works at valve studios says that they are doing the episode idea
instead of half-life 3. So i'm thinking that after all three episodes the half-life series will be over, much to my shigrin.
