Anyone like the guilty gear series. i started playing it today and i fell in love. So if anyones a fan whats your favirote chars?

Guilty Gear is the most awesome fighting game ever, the characters are so crazy. xD I'm a fan of Chipp Zanuff and [spoiler="mebbe a spoiler about GG character? Dx"]Robo-Ky[/spoiler] mehself. 8D

They're probably the best 2D fighting games ever made. I like Chipp Zanuff, Millia Rage, and when I'm feeling suicidal, Faust.

The first time I played, I was almost disappointed, being a Soul Calibur control freak that I am, found it slow paced and mildly archaic.

Then I discovered this wonderful thing called "combos". You "hit" the other person with these "combos" and they go "flying".

It's great fun. I use mostly Baiken and May.

I really wish I had my own copy of a Guilty Gear game. T^T I love them so much. <3 for Bridget.

It looks interesting, but I have yet to play (if I wanted to start the games, would the DS one be decent enough to try? I heard it was "simpler" than most of them, but I don't have a PS2 to play the others yet).

heh i love the one for the X-box cant remember the name, and my fave char is Baiken. love the 1 hit kill Iaijutsu attack

He does enough damage when you learn how to string 10-20 hit combos together with little to no effort, putting your opponent on the defensive and making them have to block the whole time but they can't do anything because they're in the corner cowering like a little girl and can't gain any Tension because of it. He destroys people, then.

Chipp's no good for tournaments, though. Ask CookinLikeSanji about that. That guy knows his stuff.

Yea Chipp is the character i use for some fun and flashy moves. I like to use Ky when i really need to do good damage with out 20+ combos.

I saw a fight between chipp and eddy once that was totally amazing, both eddy was at half health and chip had almost nothing both had 1 kill. Chipp did the attack where he glows red and he chased eddy around with it and eddy managed to evade it and pull of a crazy combo and won the fight. Was extremely intense. this was the deciding match of a tornament by the way.
