any games you wanna see remade or revived?

I'd love to see metroid 2 get remade on advanced... It isn't really DS material, but to have it revived after they remade 1 would be nice. It was always my favorite game in the series.
Another game I'd love to see remade is bionic commando... Though, I guess they'd just call it "Spiderman" almost... Not really, but that's what people would compare it to. I didn't like Captain Commando, and liked the story they'd set up in commando and bionic commando... If they fleshed it out and changed a couple details, It would be great to see remade.
ON this topic, has anyone here played Rygar on PS2? How does it compare to the original?

I would like to see Resident Evil Zero remade for the GameCube, this time with two-player co-operative mode.
Sometimes it's no fun playing a game by yourself.

FF6 for PS2 with FFX-similar graphics.
I`d like Grandia Online to make it to America.
I want a realistic makeover of Bomberman.....just kidding.

Unlikely remakes for the X-box 360 that would make *me* happy would be…
1&2: Final Fantasy VIII and IX. It’d be nice to see both with fully 3-d environments (two camera modes like in Subsistence – cinematic and straight 3rd person), voice acting, a redone over-world where everything is proportional, and X360 achievements for getting the ultimate weapons, etc. Specifically for VIII, make it so you can skip those summoning animations! Please.
3. Jet Force Gemini (N64). ‘nuff said there… after the graphics and controls are updated.
4. Blast Corps (N64). Tweak the controls a little here and camera a little there, and then completely over haul the graphics to a level of awesome. Also, a pinch of Online/LAN/Split screen co-op would be a really cool bonus….
5. Star Wars: Empire Strikes Back (N64). To Lucas Arts: After the graphics are seriously updated… just change the gameplay to be more like a FPS (with optional 3rd person), add some more levels, completely redo and add ton of new weapons (kill that all-purpose blaster), and give the game better multiplayer treatment then you did for Republic Commando. To make the game really stand out from Jedi Knight (aside from flying levels and lack of lightsaber), make the shooting weapons fun and satisfying… unlike the ones in the aforementioned Jedi Knight.
6. Body Harvest (N64). I loved the idea behind the game and the atmosphere, but… gosh… there is a lot that needs to be “remadeâ€

I would love to see final fantasy 2 (or it could be 4 im not sure which one it is, its the one with cecil) remade for a modern system. The story was awesome in that game and if they remade the graphics it would be one of the best games out there.
Im also all for having chrono trigger remade.

This is an easy one. Metal Gear, and Metal Gear 2 Solid Snake from the NES era. Can you imagine fighting Grey Fox in a minefield on the PS3? *drools* I also would love a new Road Rash game on the next gen consols.

Um, doesn't that defeat the purpose of the whole "charging" deal? O.o

That's 4, and it was already remade for both PS and GBA (I want a remake of 5 and 6, as well).

New Super Mario Bros. for the DS. Must. Have. Now.

Ark talking about Metal Gear, what a surprise (I kid
).
The games do interest me, but I haven't been able to get ahold of them yet.

No, it was not remade on the PS. It was re-
released. Same exact game,n o changes.
There was a remake of it on GBA so you are correct on that part and FF5 and FF6 are in progress for being remade for GBA. FFIII (As in, the one that has not yet to be released in the US) will be released on DS, however.

And I already knew the other stuff.

No, you misunderstood what I said which was easier to do.
I was trying to point out a remake was NOT on the PS. It was a re-release. It was the EXACT same game, no changes.
The whole GBA thing was completly seperate.

Mos' def. But not for the Xbox 360. >_>
Anyway, I'd like to see Shining Force 2 remade for the DS. Heck, I'd like to see Shining Force get a true sequel, and not that Shining Force Neo stuff. I want a Shining Force 4 for the PS3 or something. I would love it so much.

Without question indeed! GF is an amazing game. Nice choice!
For me, I hope they're still bringing out the FF7 remake, I saw the promo movie and I was almost drooling (hope they do it for pc or xbox 360 as well as PS3 though, I went off sony consols after the PS2 which was just plain boring.)
Illusion of Time would be interesting (although it probably wouldn't capture the atmosphere of the original, 2d to 3d is usually a bit of a let down).
Medievil 1!! That's an awesome platformer (if a bit dark and creepy). Needs to be remade.
I know this is off the gaming topic a bit, but they should turn Project Zero/Fatal Frame into a movie. It would be the scariest flick ever (unless the silent hill one is pulled off).

I third the Chrono Trigger remake and agree with the FFVIII remake. I still go back and play FFVIII periodically, it's one of my favorite RPGs. I also think they should remake/make a sequal to System Shock II. I've never run into a shooter with an integration of RPG elements and storyline like System Shock II, plus it has a great environment and the villian (S.H.O.D.A.N.) is one of the most interesting to listen to as she insults you through most of the game.

Games I would love to be remade?
Actraiser
An Actraiser sequel that has a simulation mode and in general pretends Actraiser 2 SNES was never made
Resident Evil 2
Resident Evil 3
Resident Evil Survivor
Silent Hill
Clock Tower
Clock Tower 2
Chrono Cross
Final Fantasy VII!!!

there already was a chrono trigger remake for the psx. im not sure if completely redoing the game with modern-day graphics would be good for it... i dunno... im rather nostalgic about my chrono trigger

Once again Chrono Trigger was NOT remade but rather re-released on a different system.
Redoing the game with modern-day graphics like this:

would work splendidly, Lynx.

I would totally love to see the game Banjo Tooie from the N64 remade. It was comical, fun, and challenging at the same time. I think it would really be something for the DS because it would be portable with better graphics and you would be able to play multiplayer on a Wi-Fi connection.

Myoti, you can play MG1 and MG2 if you buy the new Subsistence. They have ports of the 2 NES era classics on it. And as far as me and Metal Gear? Still stinging over that One Piece barb I see.

FFVII!! FFVII!! FFVII!
My sister told me all about the promo she saw. SQUEE!
Oh, I'd like to see Sorcerer's Maze remade or at least make it so I can save my ridiculously high score!!!!

I would like to see another 3D Kirby in the vein of Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards. That game rocked so hard. The combo powers were the perfect evolution for the Kirby series.

It's the same way for me. I tend to replay it about once a year, in the spring, for some reason. I'm going to hit it again this summer, I think.

Which system is that, though? I was thinking of trying "The Twin Snake" sometimes, just to see how it is. >.>

Of course.
