I have it. I play on the Kul Tiras server, as a human warrior named Gauss, a night elf hunter named Raisuke, and I may start a Horde character (either troll or undead) sometime soon.

WoW is like warcraft but a really good MMORPG...

I'd get it if it weren't for monthly subscriptions. Plus I don't like the fastastical-type of creatures in Warcraft. I perfer starcraft.

I just recently (3 weeks ago) started on Shadowsong as Horde with a couple friends, same name - Tringard.

I used to play it when it first came out. A very good MMO and I had a really good clan I was a member of since day one. I'm still in that clan too. But I quit a few months after that and I was a level 46 Human Warrior or something on the Deathwing PVP server.

I've played alot of MMO's before including Everquest, Star Wars Galaxies, Final Fantasy XI, Asheron's Call, etc. I just can't stick with them that much after awhile. I just don't have the patience for a grindfest that feels like a job. Even though WoW is a step up from the grinding Everquest clones it still has it's moments. And I just don't have the time or patience anymore to play those kinds of games. I'd much rather just pop something in play for an hour and then stop. Which is why after WoW I vowed I would never pay for another MMO again. And I haven't.

Then you should try Morrowind or Oblivion (when it comes out). Imagine a single-player game with the size, characters, depth, and interaction of an MMORPG without the annoying online characters, any guild requirements to play at certain times, or lots of unconnected mini-plots without a real overall storyline. And it has Patrick Stewart voice acting .

I have a good friend who plays WoW, and it looks cool, I'm just not willing to pay money every month to play. However, if I were to take up any MMORPG (and I won't) it would be this one because it is supposed to be really fun to play. If anything, I would want to play the Alliance just to have a battle chicken and a gnomish death ray. You can't get much more amusing than having a battle chicken and a death ray.

I have an undead warrior on the Kalecgos server. Once I hit level 30 (which should be soon enough) I think I'm going to roll another character on another server. Are you Alliance or Horde? Find out what server you're on Be careful, though...it's very addicting.

And yes, Morrowind = awesome.

Im alliance, im a night elf named Nyne on the khazmodan server. :p

and im also making one on the silvermoon server... still deciding between a night elf and a human.. but im leaning towards the night elf.
