Vagrant Story -Castlevania-Styled RPG!-

For those who like Castlevania, you will love this game. It is just one GIANT dungeon without many, many rooms.

When you see an enemy you press circle and target it then attack.

I have to say, it is the best dungeon crawler I`ve played with a good plot.

(Does anyone like the fact they use FFT styled text?)

Own it. Love it. Gotta finish it at some point.

Yeah, it`s a great game. All the music tracks seemed to be based of FFT though.

Ugh....

The one thing I hate about this game is the character design and there is like no CG cutscenes.

Ashley has like freakin bunny ears!

I have it. I didn't get terribly far however.

I found it somewhat enjoyable, but ran into a boss who I couldn't cause anything more then minimal damage to, no matter what weapon I used...so I took a break from it and never got around to going back.
I'll probably try it again eventually.

As a sidenote, this is the first time I've heard anyone compare it to Castlevania.

How can you blame me? No towns, to shops, one GIANT dungeon without hundreds of rooms and ultimate freedom.

IMO, it`s just basically Wild ARMs 3 meets Castlevania: Circle of the Moon.

I own it, but I never completed it. I got stuck on some parts, and before I could figure them out new games came along and I played them instead. One day I'll probably sit down and give it another go if I ever find the time.
