This is a great game, but it's sorta ruined by the unneeded language. Actually when he talks to the doctor before the slot boss is pretty funny. Well just wanted to make this thread for me first beating it.

I also hear that they began using the voices from the Sonic X dub for this. Funny to hear them cuss after the way 4Kids treats everything... >_>

Game play = awesome. They did a good job of keeping the element of speed in the game

Story/voicings = ...eh. >_>; I'll just say this is one of those gameplay central games.

I got a real kick out of the soundtrack. It was nicely done (as far as the stages went). Nearly everytime the credits hit I was grinding my teeth.

Overall I liked this game. I didn't expect much, and I didn't really GET much, so I'm not disappointed. It was fun aside from a few minor flaws.

I know in the orginal Sonic X, Sonic says a single "s***!" in an ep, but according to the translation notes, it's more of a "shoot" to the Japanese :/

Kinda surprised that the Shadow game has it (I mean, even if the dub's focused to kids, you wouldn't think...) But I'm assuming it's a minor d-word or h-word?

...if I hear enough good thigns I might pick up this game... when it gets cheaper sometime in the future^^

Thhe story is okay. But it is really short and can become a jumbled mess of nothinnes like what happened to the aliens aftrer the slot machine boss?

Sonic has always been wicked kiddish, but still fun. I can`t imagine they would make a game with WICKED BAD swears like the D word and the H word.

Making a sonic game with guns and cussing is like making a TV- MA rated version of Ren and Stimpy.....

What is our world coming to? XD

Seriously, I think this game was made to interest older gamers into the Sonic franchise.

My apologies for being out of the loop, but from what I've heard Shadow the Hegehog was a downright horrible game. I haven't played it so I wouldn't know, I was just wondering why you found the game enjoyable. You've said gameplay was good, but what about it? What made the gameplay good?

Actually Ren and Stimpy was more geared towards adults in the first place. The episodes that ran on Nick contained a lot of edits.

And eventually they did make an adult version.

I kind of figured that, but the entire sarcasm makes no sense in the context of your post.

ie; "Making a Sonic for older people is like making Ren and Stimpy for adults." (bad example)
"Making Berserk for older people is like making Ren and Stimpy for adults."
(good example)

Either that or you just said that so as not to look silly. : P

Well, if it means anything, I thought Ren and Stimpy was a kid`s show, then an adult`s show. I was using Ren and Stimpy becase it was an example of something that crossed to the darkside of an older audience before Sonic did ut jumped a LOT further.

Unfortunately I did not know the complete backround story for Ren and Stimpy. I aplogize.

The way to describe the game is:
1Don't play it if you think sonic is an underaverage game series
2Don't play it if you hate playing the same level more than twice
3Don't play it if you hate having low grades on video games
4The Gameplay is pick you'r side at the beggining of each level good bad or neutral. After that pick up a gun and start shooting. Then complete the guy's task. The con in being evil id that bad guys can't help you they just sit their and yell at you if you disobey them. There's also alot of swears in it whenever you get hit he swears. XP
5The story is really weak until the end. The last scene shows what Shadow's purpose is. Also when you beat the game you get a special weapon out of the special weapon box. I just got a samurai sword *>*
I beat it a third time!

I actually liked this game though I am a Sonic fan at heart. In fact, that's the entire reason why I bought this game and why I have enjoyed it as much as I have.

I got every level except the last. How do you get that! I hate being subjected to grading in video games.
